When needed most, Rachel had 25 kills on .511 hitting in the semi-state final for the #1-ranked Cougars. Her semi-state tournament finished with a full stat line; 36 kills, 5 aces, 4 blocks and 16 digs in the two matches combined. In the final, she messed around and got a triple-double (20 kills, 13 digs and 23 assists). In the semifinal against Westfield, she finished with 28 kills while hitting .362 with 11 digs and 29 service receptions without error. In the final, she added another 24 kills, hitting .426 with another 11 digs against Crown Point. Her 34 digs were paramount in the Panthers' five-set win over Mishawaka Marian. Then, she turns around in the nightcap and becomes the primary attacker AGAIN in the quick sweep of Tri-West, finishing with 19 kills while hitting .415 from the outside hitting position. Then an injury happened, thrusting Miss Bell into the spotlight. Her performance all season, without preparation as to how big the position can be, has been nothing short of amazing. In the semifinal against Southwood, all she did was produce a double-double with 20 kills and 18 digs while being a primary-passing outside. In the sweep of South Adams in the final, she added another double-double, with 18 kills and 15 digs.
