Kentucky Exposure Tour: Athletes Competitive and Unleashed

The gym was stacked with talent-hungry, competitive, and ready to earn theirs. You could feel the fire from the jump, each player battling to claim their position. It was fun to watch, and you could tell they had even more in the tank. Here are a few athletes who made sure you learned their names.    She has great awareness and the ability to adjust on the floor. Showing her knowledge of the game and understanding of an all-around player, and that's just the mental aspect that stood out. She displayed great footwork with her approaches, regardless of sets, and made heady spots with good power and control. Swinging side to side, reading the floor for blocks like a mature upperclassman.     Her steady hands, great footwork, and pinpoint clean passes put players in position to make plays on the ball are superb. Doesn't seem to panic or rush, understands the game, and gets to her position with great anticipation. Watching her versatility and variety during gameplay, keeping the defense guessing, setting the middle, executing well-placed backsets, and her quick-thinking routines will make you panic.     Impressed with the talent during Zoey Positional's drill today. She demonstrates good body positioning, consistent hands, and a range of passing abilities. Running good backsets with an ease that shows her work. Her athleticism will be used to ensure that balls are placed in spots where hitters are in control and pocket. Then her all-around game, hustling on defense, not allowing anything to hit the floor. Has a dynamic swing when on the right side and spots cross-court.     She was the definition of this day; she was ready at every opportunity. Competes with an edge that's admirable and wanted in every athlete and teammate. She hustled during every drill, which allowed us to see her backrow passing and digging ability, always consistent, and kept the ball in play. As a hitter, she possesses good footwork and adjustability, making plays at every turn. When she doesn't think she can, she hits it with a power that makes the defense think twice. Very skilled and willed!     It's truly fun to watch her play; she's extremely active all around on the floor. The skill set is wide but very well-defined on all ends. Plays with fire and grit at all times. She hustles to her spot, displays good technique in her swing, getting control to hit down the line, across the court, or even showing touch for a well-placed tip. Quick jump and awareness for blocks while hustling for covers. Seeing her develop even more will be a sight to watch.
