She really snapped her wrist when delivering hits. When the basics and fundamentals are part of your game it's easy to build confidence and to perform. Looks like she played JV as a 2029 and that's not surprising. Good footwork and looked bigger and longer than her height mentions. She is energetic, always rooting and encouraging players, communicates loud and has the skill set to back it up. Passes well in serve receive and brings A+ hustle when on the court. She anticipates hits and tips well and is always on her toes ready to make that next play. She was running the offense from the setter position like she already had been playing with these girls for years. She looked confident, sets were dialed in, and ran the offense fluidly. I had to stop and just watch for a little bit. Can make all the sets ... hustle is there along with soft hands. One of the coaches told me about her at the event and said she was spreading the sets all over the court with precision. Sure enough when watching her she was another setter who demanded attention with her play. Soft hands and put her hitters in great situations to get kills. Great body control always seems to have a plan moving toward the ball. She gets her hips low on digs and takes really good angles to pass and dig. Just seemed wise beyond her years. Sturdy platform with passing and never seems hurried. Exposure tour coach pointed me over to her. I noticed right away that she seems to track the ball very well. Can get touches and blocks at the net as well. She moves really good as well, covering for tips and setting up in her approach. She serves a really really heavy ball looks like has good top spin on it, tough for serve receive. And when she hits she really can get on top of it and get those kills. She caught my eye and she seemed to direct those hits wherever she wanted. 2029 with so much poise and skill. Smart and knows when to use her tips and tooling the blocks. I liked what I saw out of Sutter. I remember seeing her during gameplay and writing down "good digs" ... I saw her work super hard during a volley showing hustle and grit. She has a nice platform creating good angles for passing. Plays with a lot of heart and is dialed in when in that back row. Good footwork too, moves quick but not hurried. She caught my attention when walking around and those are the reasons why. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In a gym full of talented players it is hard to stick out, but these players caught my eye during the event.
