We at PrepDig hope your holidays have treated you well, but as we look at the calendar, we're almost at club season! With that in mind, here are five pin attackers from five different clubs from around the state (and beyond) that will be making major waves this club season for their recruitment.

First team all-state (again), bronze medal from last season's 15 Open tourney at GJNC's, and now looking to be the first outside to receive a commitment this coming summer. Audrey is from a family of volleyball players, and might be the most well-rounded of the bunch. A true leader by example for both her high school squad and her club team, Miss Utterback is one of the heavier hitters in this age group and, with a bit more training, will be the most complete player in the class by the end of the club season.

Traveling from Evansville to Louisville for club is further than one might think (almost two hours on a good day). Yet that's the level of commitment and excellence that Annabelle brings to the court. She's more of a right side at the moment, and can hit any angle in any tempo sent her way. She's part of a solid group moving up the ranks at Evansville North, and should be more than capable of earning that commitment this coming summer.

Last spring, Amaya was all about jumping high and terminating….and that was it. After this fall and a ton of training (both individually and with her club team), she's starting to round into the player she can become. Earning yet another sectional title with LN this past fall, Amaya is a high-flying attacker that can hit all angles from any tempo of set sent her way, and is slowly developing the ball control portion of her game. Her #1 improvement in the last calendar year has been her maturity, as she's now picking and choosing her attacking points instead of blindly attacking regardless of the defense, situation or set. Great to see this kind of development from a Wildcat, and I hope to see more of the same this club season.

Talk about traveling a long way for club practice! Elle is a big, physical and lengthy outside that does everything at an above average clip for both her age group and her position. More of an outside than a middle, she's cut from the same cloth as Morgan Gaerte, the Angola product who recently transferred to Kentucky after an All-ACC run with Notre Dame. She's dominated our showcases she's attended, and recently earned the Avoli Committed Athlete award for the Indiana Exposure Tour. A great player, kid and teammate, Elle's future is VERY bright, and should be a fun watch this coming club season.

A big and hard-hitting lefty, Brooklyn has risen our rankings quickly because of that size and strength she brings to the table. Playing much bigger than her height because of that high attack touch of hers, Miss Gluth can terminate any tempo of set in any angle and against any size block that's put in front of her. This club season should be HUGE for her development and exposure, and I'm looking forward to seeing a bit more explosiveness out of her footwork this coming spring. Once that comes around, WATCH OUT. You might need a helmet when defending Brooklyn.
