Berube continues to be a big spark and a reliable point scoring source for her NKYVC team. Her athleticism and fast arm were on display from the get go as this team continues to use her in a variety of ways. Different attack points and different speeds keep the defense honest and Berube was too good at times as she found space easily or used her pace to tool defenders at the net. Following their 3-0 record on day one, they next play in challenge match #27.

[program_tooltip program_id='431555' first='Mintonette' last=''] m.51 played some dominant volleyball in Pool G as they gave up less points than their opponents overall and while using their point scoring effectively. Ryan not only scored at the net but her six-rotation tools were also in effect as she passed and played defense along with provided some key point scoring runs on her service. Ryan and her teammates earned a perfect 3-0 record without dropping a set and will take on TAV in challenge match #30 in their next match on day two.

Hicks (*pictured) helped her team well from both sides of the court. This team has some missing pieces due to injury and Hicks is one that is stepping up nicely to help fill any offensive gaps. Her ability to swing for points at both pins creates variety for her and balance for her team. She took advantage of that variation well to give herself different looks and challenge the defense well, especially at the right pin as opposing blockers had difficulty closing space to that direction. Challenge match #7 is their next contest on Sunday after going 2-1 and finishing second in their pool.

Seeger was a key part of the offense for [program_tooltip program_id='431827' first='Elevation' last=''] 17 Chicas on day one as a primary left side attacker. She saw ample opportunities both in and out of system and produced some good results. The aggressive work she does to get up and swing for kills provided some big moments. She found space with swing in rhythm and also controlled her arm well when they needed a competitive swing out of system.
