Five 17s to Watch in Bluegrass Tournament

She'd have started other places, but has been waiting behind talented setters for the Rockets. Hurley is very coachable and as typical with KIVA players, she continues to improve in more ways that one each practice and game. Jones for the most part makes sure defense don't know which way balls are going. She consistently makes the right reads. Jones can even perform the back set. She still leans some on those back sets tipping off defenders, but it is improving every time she takes the court. She consistently makes things happen in all six spots on the court. She makes good passes in the back row. Bryant sets up hitters on target and takes sound swings all over the court. Bryant executes a variety of short and long sets. Bryant has an amazing form on pipes. Bryant can hit balls off blocks on go routes and makes solid passes to help jumpstart the offense. McBride uses her size well and has great technique on her net approaches. She deposits ones all over the court before opposing middles can get up to even slow it down.
