is an emerging multi-dimensional prospect in the Texas Class of 2028 who brings size and competitiveness to the setter/right-side position. At 5’11”, she has amazing length for a young setter and uses it effectively as both a distributor and an offensive option at the net. College coaches are going to be flocking to her court all club season because of what she brings to the table. Musgrove shows clean hands and an understanding of tempo, allowing her hitters to stay in rhythm across all attack lanes. When attacking, she plays with confidence, using her frame to score against smaller blocks and apply pressure in transition. Defensively, she shows solid positioning and a willingness to compete on every ball. Her versatility adds value, giving her teams lineup flexibility depending on system needs. With continued refinement and physical development, Musgrove projects as a high-upside hybrid player who can impact matches in multiple roles at the next level.

Addison is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because I have not released them yet. She plays volleyball at Smithson Valley High School and plays club for the Houston Skyline volleyball program. Miss Musgrove was very impressive in the two matches I watched her play this past weekend. A lot of people will fall in love with her height in the setting position, but for me it was her form and technique. She showed a nice repeatable release with every set no matter the tempo or location. This tells me that she has been coachable and understands attention to detail. When you watch her on the court, you see someone who doesn’t get rattled during big moments and wants the ball in her hands. I loved the confidence that she exuded especially against some of the top talent she was facing. Any coach will also agree that setters need to remain calm and be extensions of their coach on the court. This is exactly what I saw from Miss Musgrove at the Tour. Armed with exceptional footwork and hand contact, she will help lead this team to another great season like they had last year.

and the two did an excellent job of giving the team a nice and efficient offensive rhythm. A tall setter, Musgrove used her length well when setting, but she also stood out for her remarkable technique, which allowed her to remain precise with her locations. The setter also displayed a high volleyball IQ, using all of her hitters and making good choices with her distribution. Musgrove had some good serving runs and was very active when playing defense.
