2028 Ranking Risers

These 2028 girls are just straight ballers this class. We had over 44 girls move up from our last rankings earlier this year demonstrating how talented these girls are becoming throughout this club season. We had multiple girls jump up over 20-30 spots in our rankings and we welcomed two new girls to our top 10.   In this article we will talk about a few of the ranking risers from this last update, although we won't be able to get to all 44 of the girls we did want to highlight a few who made some big time jumps!   If you didn't see the updated list for 2028 you can see that here: <a href="https://prepdig.com/arizona/rankings/2028-rankings/" id="https://prepdig.com/arizona/rankings/2028-rankings/">2028 Rankings</a>    You want to talk about a rise in the latest rankings... may I present [player_tooltip player_id='837349' first='Rilynn' last='Brown'], who went from 105 all the way to #27.   Rilynn is a very dynamic pin hitter who can carry a team when called upon in more then one way. On the offensive end, she is a force that has a wide range of attacking ability. She is capable of hitting line, angle, hard cross, and has the court IQ to take the tip or roll shot when it is available. She seems to have a good feel for the game and can see a lot before it happens.   She is also able to play all 6 rotations and do so to a high level. She is more then capable of passing in serve receive all 6 rotations and does so with very good technique. She also plays a high level of defense and most notably is also a threat from middle back when needed. She can do it all for her team and is easily one of the best 30 players in AZ at the moment.   Jumping almost 80 spots is a remarkable achievement and says a lot about her game. She is someone that we missed the mark on in our initial rankings but have corrected that with our update.     Another huge leaper in our latest update brings Trinity all the way up to #34, from starting at number 104.   One thing we really like about Trinity and watching her play is her ability to do a lot for her team in terms of her ability to play multiple positions for her team. She can play on either pin, and do so to a high level. She isn't just a plug and hope she gets the job done, she is very capable of being a force on either pin when called upon.   On the outside she is also able to play all 6 rotations, and can pass and play defense in middle back to a high level. She also has a wide range of offensive ability being able to hit line or tool a block to a high degree. She demonstrates good technique in defense and serve receive and keeps her team in system to run a high level offense with her touches on the ball.   A 70 spot jump says a lot about Trinity and her development this year. She is someone that is standing out in so many ways and is someone to keep and eye on to continue to make big jumps.     Lilia make a jump in our last rankings going from 71 in our initital ranking all the way into the top 20 at number 16. She had one of the greatest leaps we saw out of al these prospects!   Lila is a rising 2028 pin at the top level and she is quickly separating herself with a blend of physical upside and all-around polish that's rare for her age. She's a dynamic scorer on the outside who can attack in system and out of system, showing a heavy, consistent arm and the ability to find seams against organized blocks.   What's really pushing her up the rankings, though, is her versatility. In terms of her game she's taking on serve receive, defending with confidence in the back row, and competing with a motor that impacts every rally. She is involved in a ton of aspects of the game and doing so against some elite competition at the national qualifier level. She is someone who shouldn't be taken off the floor and can dominate a game with not only her offense but with her all around game.   Lila is a elite level player who is a top pin in this class. Jumping up over 50 spots from our first ranking till now, Lila has demonstrated why she should be a top 20 player with her all around game being some of the best in AZ. Look for her to continue to show out at the national level and someone to keep an eye on to move up next rankings update as well.     A libero making a huge leap we see Carsen jumping from 38 in our initial ranking all the way into the top 20 this time!   One thing we love about watching Carsen play is she is the loudest communicator on the floor, organizing serve receive and defensive positioning while bringing a calming presence to her team in those aspects of the game. She is someone who can be relied on to pass consistently to keep her team in system and most teams have to avoid her or else deal with a high level in system team.   What separates a true top 20 prospect isn't just effort, but precision: she delivers clean, consistent passes under pressure, reads hitters early, and covers massive areas of the court with quick reactions and anticipation. Her platform is steady, her footwork is efficient, and she thrives in chaotic moments where others break down.   Carsen is a top level libero, easily top 3 in her class and one of the best regardless of class. She is someone who can do it all with her defense, serve receive, and ability to lead a team. She is someone every coach would love to have as a libero and someone who deserves her jump in our latest rankings.     Grace makes her way from 58 to 35 in the latest updates and it is a well deserved bump for this pin hitter.   Grace is a high level right side who continues to trend upward thanks to her ability to impact the match in every phase. She's a confident, aggressive attacker who can score down the line or hard angle, showing a quick arm and the ability to adjust mid-air to find open space or tool the block. She sees the floor so well and is able to take whatever the defense is trying to give her.   On top of that, her athleticism and length give her upside at the net, both as a scorer and blocker. She is a strong blocker on the pin who can penetrate the net and take away a ton of space at the net. She helps set the defense with her block and makes the life difficult for opposing hitters. Being able to be a top level blocker and hitter is a game changing aspect for a right side.   Grace is someone who can impact the game with her offense or defense and is someone we enjoyed watching grow over this season. She is someone who is making great strides and someone to watch at nationals compete against the best of the best this year.     Another big time libero making some strides! Kennedy jumps from 46 all the way up to #29 and a top 5 libero ranking in her class.   Watching Kennedy play defensively, she reads hitters well, reacts quickly, and covers a ton of ground, turning tough swings into playable balls. She also excels in serve receive with a calm, balanced platform and the ability to deliver precise passes even under heavy pressure.   Most noticeably she competes with edge and urgency, rarely letting a ball drop without a fight, and brings steady energy that lifts her team in long rallies. What's driving her upward trend is her growing confidence and command of the back row and reading the game at a higher level.   Kennedy stands out as a elite level libero in this class and continue to impress us with her high level play against open level competition. She is someone who cracked the top 30 and is trending toward moving up again in our next rankings.     Another libero making a big jump in this deep class, we have Kameron going from 63 to 45 and a jump into one of the top 10 liberos in the class.   What's fueling her climb is not just production, but growth as a player. Watching her play she's communicating at a higher level, taking ownership of the back row, and showing the poise to perform in bigger moments against stronger competition at the open level.   Her serve receive also has taken a noticeable jump, delivering more accurate, repeatable passes that allow her team to stay in system. She's also becoming more dynamic defensively and is reading hitters earlier, trusting her instincts, and extending plays with range and effort.   Kameron is someone who is making big strides in her game and we have taken notice. She is passing at an elite level, playing defense to a high degree, and is just looking like a top level libero. If she continues this trend expect her to make an even bigger jump next rankings update.     Jayden really shot up the rankings this last update from outside the top 100 (102) to being at number 74 this most recent update.   One of the better things Jayden does as a 5-1 setter is her ability to be an offensive threat/force at the net. Her ability to swing as a right handed setter and still put the ball down is impressive to watch. She also has the ability to hold a defense accountable with her dumps when she is backrow as well. Overall she is elite with her ability to score on offense and give her hitters the ball to score as well.   She also has the ability to block top level outside hitters as she has some vertical in her blocking along with the ability to press over the net. She is able to line up big time hitters and get a ton of touches and blocks on those girls. Most impressively besides her hitting and blocking she can run a fast tempo offense from all over the floor, routinely making great sets from tough locations on the floor.   A setter who can hit, block, and run a fast offense is tough to find. Jayden is capable of doing a lot and someone to really keep an eye on to move up in our next rankings up date again down the road.     Tiana made huge strides in this latest update going from 38 to 17 this go around. Anytime you can make a leap into the top 20 you are doing some great things with your game.   Tiana has all the buzz words attached to her, she is athletic, dynamic, explosive, and dominate. When you watch her play you can see all of this in her game. She is an amazing offensive weapon who can terminate balls on command whether she is in system or out of system. I love how she can run all the sets on the outside but also run any type of set in a free ball play to a high level. She sees the court well and can use her off speed stuff when the defense is playing back on her as well.   She has the all around game down as well, and gets a lot of touches in defense with opposing teams hitters. She has amazing footwork and lateral movement that allows her to get side to side in the back row to help get touches on the ball to keep her team in system. Most importantly as a pin she is able to pass in serve receive and hold her on to play all 6 rotations.
