Anthony Jones | Prep Dig Scout
Kennedy has been playing at an elite level this season for Revolution. One thing that stands out about her is her ability to lead her team, with her energy and her communication/organization in defense and serve receive. She plays with a passion and energy that is contagious and makes the players around her better. This is also noticeable in defense as she is talking about what she sees from the other team, and gives her hitters what is open on offense. She is constantly talking and hyping up her teammates which is a demonstration of her leadership qualities.
Her first contact quality has improved, especially in serve receive, where she is learning to stay balanced and trust her footwork. She covers ground well, reads hitters more effectively than many players her age, and does not shy away from difficult plays.
She showed the ability to handle heavy serve receive pressure while still making plays defensively all over the court. The motor, anticipation, and leadership qualities were impossible to ignore throughout the season.

Another big time libero making some strides! Kennedy jumps from 46 all the way up to #29 and a top 5 libero ranking in her class.
Watching Kennedy play defensively, she reads hitters well, reacts quickly, and covers a ton of ground, turning tough swings into playable balls. She also excels in serve receive with a calm, balanced platform and the ability to deliver precise passes even under heavy pressure.
Most noticeably she competes with edge and urgency, rarely letting a ball drop without a fight, and brings steady energy that lifts her team in long rallies. What’s driving her upward trend is her growing confidence and command of the back row and reading the game at a higher level.
Kennedy stands out as a elite level libero in this class and continue to impress us with her high level play against open level competition. She is someone who cracked the top 30 and is trending toward moving up again in our next rankings.

Kennedy was all over the place today for Revolution as they played. Watching her play she is a very high level defender who is able to get a ton of touches on balls and keep her team in system with her overall play. You can see as she plays she sees a lot of things before they happen is able to get her feet to the ball early to create good contact points with her platform. She also plays with a ton energy, which we love to see out of liberos! Most importantly she directed the back row and takes up a lot of space when teams try to serve near her. Overall, one of the best days from a libero that we saw and will look for that to continue in the next few days.
