The junior outside hitter had a major offensive role with the Spartans, being the focal point of their offense and producing consistently throughout the match. Hobin displayed great variation offensively, hitting from the left, the right and the middle back position at a very good level – she was very good at hitting the slide. The junior tallied ten kills and was very patient and mature with her decision-making, not pushing too much when not in ideal conditions. She also registered nine passes (and no errors), nine digs, two blocks and an ace in an excellent all-around performance.

The junior outside hitter was Seven Lakes’ most consistent player, displaying a strong level of play during the entire match, even in the first two sets, which her team lost. With the Spartans struggling a little bit with their passing at the start of the match, she carried their offense in the first two sets, being set very frequently at the pin and in the middle back position. Hobin led the team with 18 kills and didn’t make many mistakes, despite being set in out-of-system plays quite often. She was very stable in every area of the game and also contributed four blocks, 12 digs and four passes.

The junior outside hitter was the catalyst of Seven Lakes’ comeback, carrying the team offensively with an impressive 28 kills. Even when the Spartans struggled in the first two sets, Hobin still managed to perform at a high level, getting most of the sets and converting at a high rate. She was very successful with her swings from the left and the middle back positions, showing good variation and making very few errors. Hobin also added four blocks and two aces in a solid all-around performance and produced well on the backcourt too, tallying 11 passes and 11 digs.
