What a stretch for the freshmen.

We've constantly billed this year's club season as a constant, critical scouting opportunity for Nebraska's Class of 2029. The prior fall campaign offers a limited glimpse at the state's future stars, but business picks up quickly when the calendar turns. Recent qualifiers have brought these emerging gems back into the spotlight as we approach the summer.

2029s have spearheaded many of the recent bid-earning triumphs that have dominated our Prep Dig Nebraska discussions. Several of these athletes deserve a deeper dive.

So, whether GJNC-bound or not, these Nebraska 2029s are finding their stride at the right time.

Show Me brought out something special in this game-changing libero. Wiese's sprawling saves and extraordinary serve receive were indispensable during Premier Nebraska 15 Silver's run to the 15 American championship match. The Bishop Neumann freshman brought the twitchy defensive plays that frustrated attackers throughout the weekend. Wiese can instantly fill open seams in the block and pick up balls that would otherwise drop in the campfire. This is a foundational component of 15 Silver's future success.

How about [program_tooltip program_id='428728' first='River' last='City Jrs'] 15 Red? This crew joined a logjam of Great Plains contenders in the 15 Liberty division and wrapped up with a top-ten finish. Bash was an influential figure during the Kansas City trip and exhibited her willingness to carry multiple roles along the net. The Mercy freshman has experience in the middle, but her pin-hitting prowess stole the show at Show Me. Bash was particularly terminal on the right, where she overpowered opposing wing blockers. Year 2 at Mercy will be fascinating after Bash put up nearly 200 kills in her debut season.

Let's keep fortifying our net presence in the 15 Liberty division. [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] 15 Black came tantalizingly close to Kansas City's 15 Liberty semifinals. The triumph was a continuation of the consistency that Oates and her team have displayed on the regional circuit. Oates commands a ton of attention at the net with her length and flawless blocking technique. 15 Black's in-system chances also unlock Oates' undeniable heat in front of the setter. Show Me was the perfect "prove it" venue for 15 Black.

We can't forget about the 16s scene, which has plenty of high-impact 2029s playing up a year. Bauer helped engineer VCNebraska 16 Black's bid-earning weekend at NLQ and was an ever-present force in the middle. Her physicality has been a big hit at various venues, including our Prep Dig Showcase circuit. Bauer has added some serious slide termination to her repertoire, allowing 16 Black to open up its offense in two-hitter rotations. Expect this Grand Island Northwest star to keep racking up accolades while preparing for GJNC.

Blauhorn has been one of those do-everything outside hitters we usually see in a South Central NE lineup. She has the ball control skills to be an anchor L2, but Blauhorn can also take over the offense at the L1 spot. This versatility has paid dividends for South Central NE 15 Black, which put up an impressive log of victories at Kansas City's Show Me Qualifier. Blauhorn promptly added to the narrative at the Great Plains Region Bid Tournament a week later.

We're always looking for the next wave of frontcourt stars in the Nebraska Juniors gym. Beerbohm looks like a good candidate after her early-season production with Nebraska Juniors 15 Black. The team has used Beerbohm in the middle and on the right, adding to the team's impressive length at either spot. This is a multi-sport star whose volleyball influence will keep Ashland-Greenwood in postseason contention next fall.

Harlan's evolution continues. We were first introduced to this dynamic athlete through her debut season as an Omaha Westside middle blocker. That experience showcased Harlan's willingness to do anything necessary to help her team succeed. She has returned to her native outside spot with Nebraska Elite 15 Apex, a frequent qualifier contender at stops nationwide. Her range and high contact point have set the tone again.

Club Legacy 15 Alpha has wielded many of the same strengths as the club's older, more seasoned teams. That includes having plenty of athleticism in the middle, and Dahlhauser has led the way in that regard. She moves well within her imposing frame, posing matchup nightmares for opposing blockers. This is also the kind of middle blocker you can build an entire net defense around. 15 Alpha's appearance at the Great Plains Region Bid Tournament provided further testament to Dahlhauser's growth and sky-high ceiling.
