This year's event takes place June 6-7 in Menomonee Falls, WI. Stay connected to PD as several teams will be profiled in preparation for this banger of a tournament.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Team Profile: [program_tooltip program_id='431827' first='Elevation' last=''] 16 Renfro</h2>   Gauntlet Division: 16 Elite   Region: Ohio Valley   Key 2026 Results: Nike Classic (5th); Triple Crown (29th); Bluegrass (3rd); MEQ (21st); Big South NQ (3rd, Tie);   Overview: This team has had some very impressive moments and is poised to make a statement over the final months of the club season, including at the Prep Dig Gauntlet as a their final tune-up to the USAV GJNC in June. Across their roster of 10 athletes, they have good position skills along with versatility among some of their athletes to compete in different roles. The setting is high quality as [player_tooltip player_id='582202' first='Kelsey' last='Green'] is one of the top distributors in this class in Ohio. [player_tooltip player_id='755905' first='Adelynn' last='Heaton'] is a two-way threat with size. At 6'0, she can set with higher touch point than Green, but is also an offensive threat at the right pin. These setters benefit from quality ball control and defense, which can be a strength of this team to get them in-system and to simply disrupt opponents and create transition opportunities. Leading the first-touch effort are [player_tooltip player_id='800265' first='Addy' last='Wolfer'], [player_tooltip player_id='621391' first='Ella' last='George'], and [player_tooltip player_id='769884' first='Ella' last='Groff']. Each are skilled enough to compete in the libero jersey with good results. The point scoring comes through a corps of arms as Heaton can swing on the right side to help balance other pin action from [player_tooltip player_id='564942' first='Mina' last='Radaszewski'], [player_tooltip player_id='806152' first='Kenley' last='Von Handorf'] and [player_tooltip player_id='714893' first='Reagan' last='Draper']. [player_tooltip player_id='582229' first='Avery' last='Brannon'] has versatility to swing at opposite and in the middle in combination with their other middle in [player_tooltip player_id='582203' first='Sadie' last='Ellis']. Lets take a closer look at a few key athletes.    The quality of Green's (*pictured) movement and play overall continues to get better and better each time she competes. Her composure helps keep their offense simple and effective. It starts with how well she pursues the ball and the consistency of her contact point in the air, which can neutralize the defense on the other side of the net to stay more patient until they see the set location.     Wolfer is the primary libero for this team, leading their core trio of DS/L prospects, and other passers and defenders, through their combined role in the back row. She is locked into the play development and flow and maintains a dynamic and balanced body position from her preparation into her action, which allows her to be quick and efficient in her pursuit of the ball.     Von Handorf's arm work in the air equates to a big drive through the ball that is coupled with power and range as she does good work to attack open space. At 5'11, she has good length at the pin that she can maximize well by the quality of her footwork to get to the ball so she is balanced in the air.     At 5'9, Radaszewski develops good lift off the floor that allows her to do good work above the tape on both sides of the ball. As a primary left side hitter, she brings athleticism and aggressiveness through her contact point. She can terminate through different attack points with good arm control, which makes it necessary for opponents to identify and track her early.     Draper provides the best impact at the right pin. At 6'1, she can swing high to challenge the block well while also putting up one of the best blocks herself against their opponents' top pin arms. She can see quality opportunities offensively as well as the setting decisions can involve good against-the-flow action that can help create space to swing through.     Ellis is an active middle that will see opportunities through a variety of options. As she can swing on the pin, she does a good job working around her setter to get herself available, even through an audible situation, depending on the pass quality and location. This team's middles can be an x-factor on both sides of the ball as anchors for their net defense, but also through their point scoring that can alleviate some of the load that their pins might see in a given match.
