Ellis (*pictured) is another 2028 middle showing big gains her impact as a middle through different areas of the game. As an offensive threat, her early club effort has been highlighted by good range in what she brings in front of the setter and overhead off one foot. She identifies the dig or pass immediately and makes good adjustments based on the tempo of the play being initiated. Her athleticism gets her off the ground well where she is showing improved use of her arm for control and range through space and to challenge the block. The balance she creates in her blocking preparation leads to good support in defend the pins to close space and get up.

Ellis (*pictured) had a great sophomore season for Sycamore as she led them offensively at 2.3 k/s. Her season also included 45 total blocks. She has good footwork in her transition game to get herself off the net and with good space to run different routes around her setter. With a big high elbow swing, she can get on top of the ball well to get it to the court with good power when she’s on time in the air. Her offensive tools should help provide good balance through her Elevation team’s effort from pin to pin.

Ellis (*pictured) has good athleticism and was a very active middle for Elevation ‘s top 15U team this recent club season. With her quickness, she was an impact contributor on both sides of the ball as she scored through varied options while getting up off the court quickly when defending. She will return to Sycamore this fall for her sophomore season and as their top returning offensive threat from 2024 during which she earned 2.4 k/s at a team leading 39% kill rate.

Ellis continues to make a big difference up front for 15 Tony. Ellis is a reliable hitter in the middle to make big kills when the team needs her. Ellis said her blocking has gotten a lot better. She said it’s about timing and pressing over the net. Ellis continuously finds ways to improve with the talented club team.

Ellis took the Greater Miami Conference by storm with her height and athleticism this past fall. Ellis does a great job going up and finding different ways to land balls on the other side. She can rise up and smash balls to the back row or even change things up at the last second and shove balls to open spots. Ellis has outstanding timing on her blocks then quickly readies herself with her steps on offense. Ellis had 173 kills, 113 digs and finished fifth in the GMC with 48 blocks, helping Sycamore go 13-11 and finish Division I district runner-up.

Ellis had a solid first-year campaign with Sycamore as she earned 179 total kills for a 2.7 k/s average. She is an athletic and active middle at 5’11 with room to grow in her movement and and spacing in transition that will increase her efficiency and make her even more dangerous on the offensive side. She swings with a high elbow, which can maintain her contact point that can be tough to slow down when she is on time in the air. She had over 50 total blocks for a 2.3 b/m average, displaying good quickness off the floor and fast hand penetration that can put good pressuring on opposing hitters. She will once again be with Elevation ‘s top 15U team this coming club season.

Ellis is a dominant force in the middle for the Aviators. She attacks the middle strong and finds ways to put balls down. Ellis uses her size well to time blocks. She forces hitters to go over and around her helping out the Sycamore defenders. Ellis also finds ways to be effective with out of system sets. Ellis leads the GMC with 34 blocks and is tied for seventh with 129 kills.
