Six 2027 Attackers That Impressed This Club Season

These six attackers from the class of 2027 have had tremendous club seasons... and there is more to come! We found players from Washington, Oregon, and Idaho in this group of six- they all bring scoring punch and more when they step on the floor.      Beck is patient in her approach when she is set, until she explodes on her last two steps and takes an aggressive, high rip from either pin. She is very comfortable when she has the opportunity to pass and swing, while some attackers struggle in that situation, Beck is more in rhythm and highly efficient. The 2027 from Holy Names has a strong all-around game and is a player to watch as she heads into her senior year of school ball.     Gines is a potent attacker with a strong arm and extensive experience. The 2027 outside has expanded her range and vision as an attacker this club season, ripping kills left and right of the block and mixing up her routes to keep defenses honest. Gines looks very comfortable reading hitters defensively from the middle back; she is trusting her blockers and her own experience to be in the best position to make plays.     Butler plays up with PSVBA 18 Legacy; she took on a six-rotation outside hitter role when we saw her play at Emerald City. The 2027 from Decatur High School has a smooth offensive game- she can take a big swing at high hands or chop a roll shot and take out the setter to put a team out of system. Butler can make smart adjustments- attacking off one foot and take an accurate swing out of the pipe     Yearout is a six-rotation outside with dynamic athletic ability and a lightning-quick arm. The 2027 prospect plays at St. Maries High School in Idaho, and this club season, she is with CPA 17 Benson. Yearout is agile as a defender and can make emergency moves to keep a ball off the floor; she also has strong hands and can throw an accurate set to the pin when she takes the second ball.     The lefty right-side is a multi-sport athlete who gets it done on the volleyball court and in the classroom. Sampson does an excellent job getting her feet to the ball and adjusting to set location; she will do what it takes to put a solid swing on the ball and give her team a chance to score. The 2027 prospect from Auburn Mountainview has a crafty throw to the deep corner when she needs an off-speed shot and does an admirable job in off-block defense.     Zonca is now playing with Aspie NW 17 Empire, and the St. Mary's Academy (OR) attacker has been part of an outstanding run with the team that will finish the season at USAV Nationals in the 17 Liberty Division.
