I’ve been featuring AC for quite some time now, and her placement on Team Indiana’s 17-1 squad (yes, that’s playing up a year for her) for next spring proves her abilities have seriously grown in the past year. She’s springy, able to play all six rotations, and can be the spark plug for an offense looking for a must-have side-out. As for the Dragons, look for Adelynn to be the primary attacker in an offense with plenty of swinging options.

I’ve already mentioned AC quite a few times in my articles, but even I had no idea she was capable of the level of play she raised this past week. As a primary-passing six-rotation outside, she was responsible for more than point-scoring for TI’s top 15s team. In serve receive, she has active footwork and a solid platform, and her pass-to-attack is refined to the point of looking more mature than her years. Defensively she’s a pin-setting blocker, making herself easy for her middles to find. As an overall player, she’s got it all, and should continue to progress as a player for the next few years.

Although considered undersized by today’s standards, AC has the ability to be a six-rotation outside for most next-level schools in the fall of ‘29. Athletically, she’s on point, with quick transition footwork and a springy jump. On defense, she reads and reacts with some of the best in her class, while also staying within herself and doing what it takes for her TI squad to score points. The little things—-the stuff that gets overlooked in a stat sheet—-are what she does best, and should be considered “the glue” for whatever roster she finds herself on for the rest of her career.

Early in the fall, “AC” was a shy attacker finding a little playing time on the varsity after owning most of her JV opponents. Fast-forward to late this spring, and Adelynn is a full-time, six-rotation attacker with the ability to do a little bit of everything the next level requires of an outside hitter. Add the athleticism to her high volleyball IQ, and Miss Crispin is the complete package in this class.

It’s hard to call AC “under-the-radar” as the #10-ranked recruit in this class. However, every time I see her play, she’s that much better at every facet of the game, but isn’t from a volleyball blue-blood high school. Springy, bold and sneaky-strong, Adelynn has taken her TI training to new heights—-she’s developed some hard angle shots this spring to go with her consistent high-hands approach—-and is a primary attacker on one of the better 15s teams in the state.

With a little varsity experience under her belt, Miss Crispin showed her all-around nature on the left pin this past fall. Now, with TI’s top 15’s team, she’ll have a chance to showcase her talents within her own age group at the open level of training. Springy and quick, Adelynn is more than capable of holding her own in the pass-to-attack department required of all outsides at the next level.

Defensive-minded and quick, Adelynn is the heir apparent to the New Palestine volleyball tradition of athleticism. Her passing is solid, and her serve receive shows fast feet with a calm platform. On the attack, she’s got a quick transition, making her immediately available for any and all sets sent her way. Springy and active, Miss Crispin is already turning heads with her all-around game and ability to do the right things at the right times. For those reading, that’s not an easy task for any age group, let alone freshmen.
