FAST Pre Nationals Middles to Follow

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship is just a few weeks away, and teams from all over the country are now fine-tuning their games to get to Indianapolis at the end of the month in the best possible shape.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Teams from Texas will have a good opportunity to do so this weekend, when one of the most competitive warm-up tournaments in the Houston area, the FAST Pre Nationals will be held. The event will go on from Saturday to Sunday in three venues in the area, reuniting around 100 club teams, which are split into six age groups.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Some really exciting prospects will be on the court this weekend, and we'll now present a few of them. Big, physical and equipped with great footwork, she's a very interesting offensive weapon for her team. Mack can hit different sets in the middle and converts them into points at a very high rate, forcing opposing blockers to commit to her and allowing her pin hitters to frequently play 1v1. Standing at 6'1", she provides them with much-needed size at the net and is an incredibly valuable asset on both sides of the ball. Gilbert makes the most of her impressive length on offense, hitting a little bit of a higher set in the middle so she can make contact with the ball at the highest possible point - she can also swing from the pins with great efficiency. Tall and athletic, she's a force offensively, getting up really high at the net and smashing the ball with power. Garner's impressive hang time gives her the ability to adjust to sets in the air and find solutions to difficult plays.
