Those decisions rarely stay quiet for long. Club movement shapes the level of competition an athlete sees, the coaching she learns from, and eventually, the film and results that shows up in front of college coaches and rankings staff.   What follows are the athletes willing to put that decision into words. Some are staying put, choosing continuity and a coach they trust to keep developing them. Others are making a change, chasing a higher level of competition or a role they believe will accelerate their game. Either way, these are the decisions that quietly move the needle long before a ranking ever reflects it. In their own words, here is where they're headed this season, and why. After building her foundation at her previous club, she is joining [program_tooltip program_id='429544' first='Sunshine' last='Volleyball Club']'s 15 LA team, a jump that puts her in the open division and in front of a coaching staff she specifically sought out for the level of challenge it offers.   The way she talks about the move says as much as the decision itself. This isn't a break from what came before, it's a continuation of it. She describes her prior club as the place that built her foundation, and Sunshine as where she intends to build on it. Rather than chase a new environment, she is choosing to remain with A4 Volley, a program that keeps her playing up against older, more experienced competition under a coach with a championship résumé.   That choice reflects where she is in her development. As a 2031 setter, Sahej is not focused on this season in isolation. She is building toward becoming a 6R setter, and staying immersed in a system that challenges her against bigger, faster, more advanced players is part of that long-term plan. She's direct about why: the coaching, the training environment, and the belief that this is simply the best fit for where she wants her game to go.   What comes through in her words is trust, specifically in the two coaches she named, Yadi and Moni, who she credits with the ability to take her game to the next level. That kind of specificity matters. Hailey isn't speaking generally about good coaching, she's pointing to the people she believes in and the relationship she's building with them season over season. Mixed in with returning teammates and new ones joining the roster, her continuity at [program_tooltip program_id='876208' first='SC' last='Rockstar'] reads less like staying in place and more like doubling down on a partnership she trusts to keep developing her.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     [player_tooltip player_id='698064' first='Makala' last='Baker']'s return to Forza 1 North comes down to fit, and she's specific about what that means to her. Her excitement for the season is layered in a way that's worth noting. She's not just looking forward to competition for its own sake, she's naming the bond among her teammates in the same breath as the level of play she expects the team to reach, a level she says they haven't hit before. This is the club where she says she's been happiest, and she describes the environment in terms of family before she ever gets to volleyball specifics.   That doesn't mean the volleyball side is an afterthought. She credits Coach Monty and Coach Riley directly for building a hard-working environment over the summer, one she's already seen the effects of and expects to carry into the season. Her excitement points in two directions at once: the chemistry and friendships she's building within this group, and the payoff she expects to see on the court from the work they've already put in together. She goes a layer deeper on her new coach specifically, describing a belief that runs in three directions at once: in the team, in her personally, and in himself to get everyone where they're trying to go. For an athlete making her first move into a new club, that kind of trust isn't something she's assuming, it's something she's already identified and is choosing to build on. Her excitement for the season is open-ended by design, she's less focused on a specific outcome and more curious to see where the growth actually leads.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     [player_tooltip player_id='932571' first='Niara' last='Kwaning'] is joining Pipeline's 18-1 team this season, and she's playing up an age group while she does it. She's straightforward about the reasoning, Pipeline felt like the place that would keep pushing her development rather than letting her settle into a comfortable role.   Playing up is worth sitting with here. It's a harder path by design, and Niara frames it that way herself, tying her excitement directly to how much she can grow by taking on older, more experienced competition. Combined with getting to know a new coaching staff and a new group of teammates, her move reads as someone actively seeking out the version of this season that will stretch her the most, not the one that would be easiest.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     [player_tooltip player_id='725940' first='Noelani' last='Ramirez'] is staying at Synergyforce, moving into the 17-1 National team, and her reasoning centers on the people already around her. She points to a coaching staff built from former college coaches and a roster full of teammates who share her drive to compete, the kind of environment where pushing each other is built into the culture rather than something that has to be manufactured.   What she's looking forward to this season is layered. She wants to learn from the range of coaching styles on staff, treating that variety as its own kind of development opportunity, while also making room for the relationships and memories that come with a group she already trusts. For Noelani, staying put isn't about avoiding change, it's about recognizing she's already in an environment built to challenge her.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     [player_tooltip player_id='1009935' first='Kylie' last='Hider'] is joining Vision this season with growth as the clear driver behind the move. She points directly to the club's more challenging environment as the reason it made sense, an intentional step up rather than a lateral shift.   Her excitement heading into the season is twofold: sharpening her skills against tougher competition and building real connections with a new group of teammates. That pairing says something about how she approaches a fresh start, she's not just chasing a harder training environment, she's equally invested in the relationships that will come with it. Her outlook carries a steady kind of optimism too, the belief that persevering through the adjustment will pay off in the end.   ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     [player_tooltip player_id='1009937' first='Sofia' last='Valdez'] is staying with Bay Area Volleyball Club, moving up to their 15 National Silver team as libero, and her path there says a lot about how far she's come. She started in recreational volleyball, a beginning she's candid about never expecting would lead to this level of play. Being selected for 14 National Silver last season was one marker of that growth, and being chosen again this year for 15 National Silver is one she doesn't take for granted.   Her reasons for staying are personal as much as competitive. She names the coaches, her teammates, and her own development at BAVC as the full picture behind the decision, not just one piece of it.
