Her athleticism is apparent, allowing her stand out in serve receive and at the service line. Advanced awareness and confidence help her slow the game down. Yeva displayed good feet and control to stand out from the crowd. She also performed well at the service line and helped her team in a variety of ways during scrimmage action. Yeva displayed advanced composure for her age, which should give her a chance to contribute for Bishop Chatard early in her career. Delk is a fundamentally sound player, using good feet and awareness to stand out. Strong from the service line and as a passer, Lauren is an athletic and well-rounded player that can help her team in a multitude of ways. Butler was a strong contributor for Trinity Lutheran as a freshman last season, helping the Cougars to a Class IA State Championship. Kennedi exhibited great control in serve receive with good footwork and athleticism. Kennedi stood out as a passer during drill work and showed well in the scrimmage portion of the event. The incoming freshman at Yorktown is an excellent communicator and provides strong on-court leadership. Grace never gives up on a play and is not afraid to cover ground to track down a pass. An outstanding passer, she is a strong server as well. Danica is an exceptional leader, communicating constantly and interacting well with her teammates. Her high-energy style of play stood out in scrimmage action, where her enthusiasm and athleticism shone. Danica moves well on the court, allowing her to anticipate and put balls in good spots for her teammates.
