The Art of the Dig: PD Freshman Showcase Standouts

Throughout the day, these athletes competed with relentless energy, showcasing their grit, competitiveness, and willingness to battle for every point. While every position featured standout performances, it was the defense that stole the show, with impressive digs, relentless pursuit, and backrow play that kept rallies alive and left a lasting impression. This was just one of her super strong elements to her play, she also very upbeat and kept a smile on her face. This kept herself and all those around her engaged. She talked constantly about what was happening on the court while also cheering on those around her. Her excitement was contagious. Not only was her talk positive, but her pursuit was insane. Every ball on her side of the court had atleast a touch from her. She brought great angles, smooth serve recieve, and great reads on defense to the court.
