School season is officially here, and Week 1 isn't wasting any time giving us some intriguing matchups across Arizona. From experienced programs looking to establish themselves early to talented rosters ready to make a statement, the 4A–6A slate has plenty of matches that could give us an early glimpse at what this season has in store.

Next week is only the first week, and there is still a ton of volleyball ahead, but these early battles are always fun to watch. New lineups are taking the floor, players are stepping into bigger roles, and teams finally get their first opportunity to show what they've been building throughout the offseason.
