Who has their Stock up after the Stock Up Showcase

We had our Stock Up Showcase this last weekend and we had some top level talent come out and show why they need to be on our radar! We saw some of the best AZ has to offer that are coming into their Junior and Senior years for their school teams. All the girls at the showcase have the ability to play next level ball, but these 5 really had their stock rise in our eyes based on how well they play at our showcase. These girls really rose to the occasion and were dominate in both drills and during game play. Watch out for these girls come the fall season as they should make some noise!    Kaitlyn might have been the best setter on the courts at this showcase. She has all the features we look for in a setter with her ability to run a offense but she also shines because she can serve, play defense, and be a threat on offense as well. She shows a great court IQ because of her ability to know which hitters to set and when during the game play portion. Most importantly her ability to set accurately from out-of-system situations allowed her teams to still be effective throughout all the game play. Her team was never out of system when she got her hands on the ball, they always had the opportunity to score.   Kaitlyn on defense competed well by reading attacks to a high level and anticipating when to come up for tips or when to stay deep or wide for those hard driven balls. She also was a big time hustler, getting touches on almost every 2nd contact or hustling down out of system balls off the block or a errant dig. She showed the ability to contribute with more then her ability to run a high level offense. Her stock is very high in our eyes as we head to school season, she should be a standout and riser for the Stallions this fall.     Jada was a player that looked the part of a great outside hitter and should have some schools coming to look at her this fall. She has a lot of power and pop in her swing, as she is an aggressive player who doesn't shy away from being an offensive scorer. She has the ability to hit a wide variety of shots and can even throw in some off speed shots when the defense is sitting back on her. Jada does a good job seeing the block and taking the angles that are given to her, but she also doesn't shy away from tooling the block and scored some points by going off the block or high hands when it was needed. She has a clear understanding of the game and where to score points both in system and out of system swings.   Jada is also a very good defender and passer in serve receive. She does well with her movement to get to get her arms on passes in serve receive and create great angles to the setter. Jada has great movement for a pin which aids in her ability to transition well and be available in long rallies along with getting deep and taking the deep corners on defense. She has a wide range and ability to get quality touches whether in serve receive or defense. This also benefits her on offense as she gets great loads and transitions during those long rallies. Jada should see a jump in our next rankings as her stock is only going up after her great performance this last weekend.     Zoe is the definition of consistent and good. She isn't the flashy libero because she does everything to a very high level that nothing needs to stand out as her overall game is just that high. She is a demon on defense, always getting touches on the ball by moving her feet and reading the hitters to get to the right spot. She always seemed to be in a good potion to dig any ball hit her way during game play, and used her great form to pass high level passes to her setter. Her technique is flawless and she really does a great job with her form and angle each and every touch.   Zoe also looked good in her ability to pass in serve receive during the drill portion. She took great routes to get her arms to the ball to create the proper angle to the target. Her footwork was really good and it helped her always stay on her feet when she passed the ball. Most importantly she was loud, and communicated very well in both defense and offense to her hitters about what was going on with the other team. Having a libero that can lead your team is always a big plus for us coaches, and someone who brings the energy is just plain fun to watch. Zoe has always been on our radar but after this showcase she has a case to make that her stock should rise and schools should start taking notice at the college level.     Sophia really stood out to me and should see a spot in our rankings come next update! She is a libero who moves extremely well and has a lot of length for a libero which aids in her ability to get a ton of touches on the ball in defense and serve receive. Sophia's ability to make early reads while moving efficiently to the ball is what really stood out stood out to me in both the drill portion and game play. She does really well moving her feet and getting to the correct spot very early to make those passes. She was never late to a ball, and did a great job keeping her team in system throughout the drills/game play.   Sophia also did well with her out of system setting by putting the ball in great locations for the hitters to take swings on the ball. She does well with her platform setting and really puts the hitters in great positions to take swing when she is setting. Sophia has a lot of great intangibles we look for in liberos, from her excellent ability to read the game, her passing, and her movement overall. She made some big strides in our eyes at this showcase and has the opportunity to have a great fall with that type of game play.     Faith really came to play on Saturday and was one of the top middles, actually one of the top players that was there on Saturday with her overall game play. She is a force out of the middle with her offense game, and really didn't have a whole lot of issues scoring during game play. One of the best aspects about her game is just how well she transitions and loads to hit whether it is a free ball or in a scramble. She is always available to hit and that is a hard concept to find out of some middles. She is effective with her swings and doesn't shy away from going through a one on one block in the middle, a fearless weapon on offense is the best way to describe Faith.   Another big plus in her game is how well she blocks. She does a great job taking up angles and space at the net with her ability to get over the net with her arms. She also closes the block really well as she has great lateral movement side to side when the ball goes to the pin. There weren't a ton of balls that were able to get by Faith when she was up for the block, and even if they did she did a great job getting good touches or funneling the ball to her defenders in defense. Faith should be getting some college interest this fall as her game play at the showcase warrants some attention from colleges.    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   The 2026 Summer Showcases were an incredible way to wrap up the club season, and we couldn't be more excited about the talent we saw on display. Thank you to every athlete, coach, and family who helped make these events such a success. The future of Arizona volleyball is incredibly bright, and we're grateful to have had the opportunity to watch so many players compete.   This is just the beginning.
