As these young athletes settle into another high school season, several are already turning heads with their athleticism, skill, court awareness, and ability to compete at a high level. This class is loaded with potential and continues to show just how bright the future is. She immediately caught my attention with her quickness and ability to read the game. She moves well along the net, gets herself into good position, and has a solid arm swing that allows her to attack quickly and effectively. With Stelter at the helm of the offense, we expect them to be in the mix once again. Surrounded by a talented group of pins and middles, Stelter has plenty of weapons at her disposal and she knows how to use them. She has strong court awareness, reads the defense well, and does a great job getting all of her attackers involved. She reads the game well, moves quickly laterally, and does a great job closing the block. Offensively, her vertical allows her to play bigger than her height, as she gets up quickly, gets on top of the ball, and finds ways to attack around the block. She is quick, transitions fast, gets herself into position, and pairs that movement with a lightning quick arm swing. Holmgren also does a great job reading the block and taking advantage of what it gives her, finding open court and making defenders pay whenever she gets the opportunity. Hoang is a quick, athletic middle with a solid vertical and impressive movement along the net. Some of that comes from her natural speed, but just as much comes from her instincts and ability to read the game. Defensively, she reads attackers well, moves quickly laterally, and is quick to close and seal the block. On the attack, she pairs her vertical with a fast arm swing. Hoang is definitely a middle we'll be keeping a close eye on moving forward.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
