Bronson, who has pledged to MVC powerhouse Northern Iowa at the next level, fits the exact mold of a standout KC Power pin hitter. She soars on the left side with her explosive step-close, but Bronson doesn't need to terminate to make an impact. Her presence in the middle-back area was a huge boost for KC Power 17-1, and she should carry similar influence in her final year with Shawnee Mission Northwest. Don't forget about her lethal jump-spin serve, either.

We've been eager to catch up with this hard-hitting middle blocker. Macrorie made a lasting impression during our in-depth coverage of MAVS 16 Elite at Triple Crown NIT, and the Olathe Northwest junior is bringing serious momentum to the prep side. Her Ravens squad reached last year's 6A semifinals, where Macrorie capped off a season in which she hit nearly 0.300 in front of the setter. Look for her frontcourt role to expand as Olathe Northwest spars with the state's most intimidating powerhouses.

There's that Shockwave crew again. We've raved about Shockwave 16 Black top-five performance at AAU Nationals this summer, and the triumph wouldn't have been possible without Lewis's steady command at the setter spot. She's a quick, springy distributor who consistently gets her feet to the ball on any pass. That allows Lewis to showcase her willingness to take risks and force her middles while off the net. It's no wonder Lewis managed to amass over ten assists per set for Andover Central last fall, and her best is yet to come.

The Bobcats are happy to have this game-changing terminator back in the gym. Anderson was one of our biggest stock risers in the most recent 2028 update, and her climb gained steam with PVA this spring. This is a multi-dimensional attacker who has proven her worth at almost any frontcourt position. Basehor-Linwood has leveraged Anderson's strength as an opposite, but her club reps have also revealed a penchant for patrolling the middle. Expect some serious attacking volume this fall regardless of position.

Steinlage's multi-sport influence has already been felt at Centralia High, and this dynamic athlete is just getting started. She posted over 150 kills on a 0.250 clip in her freshman debut with the Panthers, leading to further success with Manhattan Mayhem. A busy spring campaign was accompanied by quality time on the basketball court and various track and field venues. We wouldn't expect anything less from one of Kansas' rising stars in the Class of 2029.

Any feature on Kansas' club standouts wouldn't feel complete without a Dynasty mention. Whitney added to the rich tradition of trendsetting liberos at this club, racking up a wealth of highlight moments with Dynasty 15 Black. Defending home territory en route to a Show Me Qualifier championship was surely a memorable moment in that tenure. After guiding 15 Black's backcourt to another successful outing at USAV Nationals, Whitney now pivots to Year 2 at Lawrence Free State, where she broke out as a starting freshman last fall.

KNVBC had to get in on the conversation, too. Briggs was an immediate impact player for last year's Seaman squad, locking down the middle-back area in a key DS role. She's the kind of defender who makes routine plays look easy, all while delivering perfect backspin for her setter. Briggs' range continued to flourish with KNVBC 15-2 Crossfire, so we're looking for a continued upward trend in Year 2 with the Vikings.
