They played in three team pools in the morning for pool play, with the first place teams from each pool then heading to West Linn HS, the second place teams in each pool going to Oregon City HS, and the third place teams moving to Riverside HS for the afternoon bracket play. This was an extremely field of teams from Oregon and Southwest Washington, including 11 of the top 20 Oregon 6A schools, five of the top 20 Oregon 5A schools, the #1 ranked 4A school in Oregon, Valley Catholic High School and the number 18 overall ranked team in all of Washington state, Camas High School.

This is the first of three parts, recapping a few of the top players from many of those schools, who stood out throughout the day for their respective schools.

Follow Me on Instagram - @prepdigjason

CAMAS HS

Wiest can really bring the fire in the middle. She does such a great job of getting in on the quick attack, while showcasing her fast arm swing and her ability to swing around the block. She also can put up a devastating block to shut down opposing hitters. Very quick in transition both on and off and along the net. Love her aggressiveness both offensively and defensively.

IG - @kendyl_wiest

Tyler is a big time hitter and blocker along the net for her team. She is quick off the floor both being able available to her setter offensively as well as quickly getting in front hitters with her strong and aggressive blocking skills. She is very smart in her attack decision making, knowing when to swing hard and when to break out her off-speed shots to find the holes in the defense.

IG - @allisontyler2030

It is such an important thing to have a go-to hitter on the pin who can score consistently for their team. Beaulieu is certainly that for Camas. She brings a wealth of skills to the court — from aggressive swings to solid serve receive passing and defense, she does what she can to help her team win. She is a excellent six-rotation threat both on the court and from behind the service line.

IG - @noellebeaulieu.vb

CENTRAL CATHOLIC HS

Kaoipuiki-Delaney is the consummate leader for her team with the setter position. She bring skills, athleticism, leadership, determination and grit within her play on the court. She did a great job getting many different high level hitters involved within her team's offense, dispensing sets all over net and even using hitters coming up from back row. She also does a great job on defense and is great server.

IG - @n0a.kd

Nicholson is a strong and aggressive middle. She does a fabulous job of making herself available within transition, getting up quick off the floor and swinging the ball really fast and with power. She has excellent vision and instincts at the net when blocking, with a quick first step to be able to take away a middle attack or close to pin blockers to seal the table and shut down the attacking lanes. She plays with a lot of energy and passion, which is infectious to her whole team.

IG - @leila_nicholson155

CRESCENT VALLEY HS

As one of the top setters in the state, Campos did an amazing job of leading top ranked Crescent Valley to a big day during the tournament. She does amazing job of feeding the offense, creating opportunities for her teammates to score points. She is also very offensive minded, being aggressive in her offense. Great defender in the back court as well as a very nice server.

IG - @_lelacamposvb

Whitinger is an outstanding libero, with amazing defensive instincts. She just sees the court and the block so well, and so fast in her footwork to get to the right spot to take away those big swings that a hitter for sure will go down, only to see it up and in-system by Whitinger. She is also very consistent and balanced in the serve receive lanes, allowing their team offense to run very smoothly.

IG - @naiya.whitinger

Check out Parts 2 and 3 of the West Linn Varsity Tourney 2026, on the PrepDig Oregon page as well.
