Sixteen of the best 5A teams have qualified for the playoff event which will all take place on this coming Halloween, Saturday Oct. 31st. In seeded order, the top eight schools that earned the opportunity to host first round match-ups include -- Crescent Valley, Bend, Summit, South Albany, Wilsonville, Crater, North Eugene and Sandy. Like the other divisions, a total of eight advancing teams will then earn their way to the State Tournament final site. The 5A tournament will be hosted this year at first-time host Central High School in the town of Independence on Nov. 6-7 (<strong><a href="https://www.osaa.org/activities/gvb/brackets">OSAA Brackets</a></strong>).
