Cai outplayed her ranking from the December 2022 update, something we love to see when we circle back and watch players develop during their careers. NPJ Seattle 17 setters both moved up in the rankings, with Kayleigh-Shay Chang Kayleigh-Shay Chang 5'6" | S Lake Washington | 2024 State WA and Cai in the top 12 for setters in the 2024 class.

Cai has a particularly nice feel for involving her middles, and she showed a deft touch setting up the NPJ bigs for scoring opportunities. Cai is tall enough to keep the delivery high and short to the middle attacker, and NPJ was at their best when they worked inside out. Her chemistry with Logan Remington Logan Remington 6'3" | MB Mercer Island | 2024 State WA was terrific all season when the two were on the court together.
