Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
Morris is the kind of outside hitter who will do anything necessary to help her team succeed. She can play across the back row as a DS who will also remain an attacking threat on the pipe. Of course, Morris can also rotate into the front row and wield her quick arm on the left side. The Millard West junior has been a mainstay with Premier Nebraska 17 Black, a group that has seen plenty of NLQ success over the past two years. 2026 offered a continuation of that tradition, and Morris’s versatility remains a must-see cog in the starting rotation.

Morris has established herself as an all-around impact player for Premier Nebraska 16 Black, which showed in the win column at Sunday’s Power League. 16 Black compiled a 3-0 record throughout the event while Morris had a steady hand in the effort. This left-side hitter is an effective terminator in the front row and takes pride in locking down the middle-back area as a floor defense. Morris is also a key passer for her squad, allowing her 16 Black teammates to flourish. Another GJNC bid could be brewing.

Morris did a lot of heavy lifting for last year’s Millard West squad. She notched two kills per set while also carrying a major role in the serve-receive pattern. The versatile outside hitter had a strong club season at Premier Nebraska and is preparing for the next step in her prep journey. That step includes an all-around presence as an attacker, defender, and everything in between. Morris is ready to make that jump.

Premier 15 Black’s flexibility lies in its pin positions. That’s where we find Morris, a savvy hitter who has played on either side of the setter in 2024. She earned valuable reps as a left-side hitter during her freshman season with Millard West. That set Morris up for more highlight moments as 15 Black quickly claimed a 15 USA berth. Her left-side termination has flourished again, but we’ve also seen Morris work on the right pin in late-season action. 15 Black has extraordinary depth and seemingly infinite options, so we’re anxious to see which combinations prevail in Vegas.
