Walter’s electric arm took us all off guard. We had a lot of dynamic right-side hitters in the gym last weekend, but Walter brought enough heat to immediately distinguish herself. The Millard West sophomore bursts off the floor with a strong, deliberate approach on the right side. This allows Walter to generate enough momentum to drive through the ball and produce indefensible power. Her growth since last year’s showcases was something to behold.

Let’s move over to the right pin. Walter is part of the large group of past showcase standouts who landed on our radar last summer. She made full use of her range and high contact point on the right pin and was an effective attacking option in six-on-six drills. Walter’s upcoming tenure with Nebraska Elite 15-1 will provide further examples of her extraordinary potential. She may even see stints on the left side to increase her attacking volume.
