Nebraska 2025 Rankings Update: Stock Risers (Part 1)

Now, it's time to look at the players who climbed the ladder.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's never too late for players to boost their stock, as evidenced by the shuffling we have for this update. She has made her college pledge to Omaha and brings all the experience and athleticism necessary to excel at the next level. Her quickness is well-suited at the M1 position, where Venable can score at will on the slide. She has also recently honed her skills as a pin hitter and is earning occasional reps as a primary passer. The Minden junior could do a lot of different things at the next level, from running the front row as a hitter to commanding the offense as a setter. We've seen Kamery do both with the Whippets, and she keeps putting up some of the best high school numbers in her class. We first knew her as a six-rotation outside hitter whose craftiness was her strong suit. Giving up those hitting duties for a libero jersey has never kept Kucks down. Rather, she has developed into one of Nebraska's best 2025 liberos and is a staple in the Millard North lineup. She's dishing out over ten assists per set and has helped maintain the Warrior winning streak that dates back to 2021. The Omaha Concordia middle blocker is hitting 0.339 this year and is adding a block per set for good measure. However, the Patriots have shown a new wrinkle in 2023 with Hollatz being fully unleashed as an attacker in addition to her setting role. She's pounding down nearly two kills per set while still maintaining her strong grasp over the offense. The Silver Hawks had some question marks on the pins heading into the season, but Harding's brilliant play has muted any reservations about frontcourt firepower. Harding is an incredibly fluid hitter whose step-close is ideal for out-of-system situations. That's partially due to her great length and physicality, which allows Kafka to generate touches against Class A's high-flying hitters. But Kafka is also fortifying her offense this year and can drive some aggressive swings from behind the setter.
