Highlights
Elgarico, who was named Player of the Match by Moda Health, has been an integral piece of the Spartans success this season as a captain and six-rotation outside hitter. As bouncy and athletic as they come, she was relied on heavily to put the ball away. With a match-high 28 kills, she was incredibly efficient with 60 swings, hitting an impressive .367. She was also error-free from the service line with 14 attempts, serving the final point of the patch. Elgarico also tallied nine digs and had 17 serve-receive receptions with only three errors. Lucky for the Spartans, she is only a junior, so Elgarico will be back for one more season to sport the navy and gold.

Gould, who was named Player of the Match by Moda Health, has been an integral piece of the lineup since transferring from North Bend last season. She was their primary weapon during the State finals, being fed all over the court. Even though she is a left-handed hitter, she attacked from everywhere, although on the right-side was her best swing. She was relentless on the attack, converting 27 of her 61 swings into kills, hitting a .344. From the service line, her jump float garnered her two service aces on 23 attempts. She also posted 10 digs and had 19 serve receive receptions, with three errors. A University of Oregon commit, Gould will leave a big hole to fill for the Pirates going forward.

Macduff, a 6-foot-1 outside hitter, had herself an impressive match in the State finals. On the attacking front, she posted 16 kills, making a minimal two errors on 38 swings, hitting an imposing .368. She did not let nerves rattle her from the service line, racking up five service aces on 18 attempts with her standing float. She also posted 10 digs and had 17 serve receive receptions, with only one reception error. Her passing to keep the team in system was vital in their ability to compete. A three-sport athlete for Marshfield, she is a top-notch basketball player, receiving First Team honors last season. With both Macduff and Gould graduating this year, the Pirates have two major offensive holes in their line up going into next season. Luckily, they will be returning
