About Amaree

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I love the finding the unexpected ways of hitting over blockers and placing the ball in strategic places the opponent does not expect. But most of all, I like stuffing big hitters with my even bigger blocks. As the player with the highest hitting percentage, I aim to touch the ball with purpose, each time I am set.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very competitive and like to push my teammates to be their best. I am always cheering our team no matter if I'm sitting, or on the sideline. I am always trying to be upbeat, positive and keep us rallying even if we go down. I never take no for an answer and I am driven to keep getting better to play at the next level.

Nominated for Student Athlete Council because of my leadership qualities

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Two ankle sprains one of which was a fracture and recovery/training took me out of almost my entire 2024 season and it was mentally tough to not be able to play.

What type of college are you looking for?

D1 with a great volleyball program and positive team culture.
