We’ve hyped up several players in VCN 16 Black’s attacking rotation, but let’s give some credit to the players who help set them up. Kroemer has commanded 16 Black’s setter spot this year and has a similar skillset to many other extraordinary VCN setters. She gets her feet to the ball quickly and can turn an errant pass into a scoring opportunity. Kroemer will not shy away from frontcourt duties and can get aggressive on the second contact if needed. This is a setter worthy of postseason success this summer.

VCNebraska has no shortage of talented setters in its arsenal. Kroemer will reenter the spotlight after an impressive late-season run toward USAV Nationals. VCNebraska 16 Black’s lineup flexibility allows Kroemer to exhibit her setting proficiency in a wide range of situations. She is most comfortable setting out of the back row but can also operate along the net if needed. Look for Kroemer’s pin-to-pin distribution to shine against some tough Great Plains foes.

Kroemer can also vary tempos and locations based on what suits her hitters best. The bright lights of GJNC seemed to bring another level out of this up-and-coming setter, so pay close attention to the VCN gym in future seasons.

VCNebraska is stacked in the 15s age group. Kroemer was an essential part of 15 Black’s recent surge, which included a bid-earning triumph at MEQ. This fluid, dynamic athlete fits the mold of so many other great setters we’ve seen at VCN. Kroemer sets against the flow with amazing precision and often leaves her right sides with a one-on-one opportunity. A similar story has played out with 15 Black’s other attackers as Kroemer strengthens her cohesion with the entire frontcourt. GJNC will be the ultimate test for those setter-hitter bonds.

Her quick release holds middle blockers long enough to open up one-on-one opportunities on the pins. Jump setting is a big strength of Kroemer’s game, as she has mastered the rhythm to make it effective. VCN 15 Black has a lot to gain with this talented setter guiding the operation.
