There are volleyball camps, and then there are volleyball camps. The Under Armour Next Invite-Only Camp Series offers unparalleled exposure and the chance to earn the coveted Golden Ticket to play in the All-America game in Orlando, FL—an event that I have covered which is truly one of a kind.

Prepdig was granted exclusive access to the invite-only Las Vegas camp, held following the 16U and 17U 2024 USAV Girls Junior National Championships. This camp differed from the prior Kansas City Camp, which took place before the Triple Crown tournament. Witnessing the drills, pace, and competition at this camp, you could distinctly feel and hear the difference between athletes who participated prior to high-level competition and those performing post-tournament. Coach Mike Lingenfelter, Co-director of UA Next Volleyball Camps, emphasized that this camp session was about pushing yourself even when you're tired, even after high-level competition, to strive for your best as you will have to do at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='338908' first='Lucky' last='Fasavalu'] does one thing exceptionally well: she impresses every spectator she plays in front of. As a standout freshman setter, Lucky exudes confidence in her skills and consistently performs at a high level. Her natural flow in setting keeps the game rolling smoothly, showcasing her quick athleticism through seamless movement and elegant sets. Her connection with hitters is impeccable, creating a dynamic offense that's hard to defend. But Lucky is not just a setter; she is a versatile player who excels in any position she is placed in.

Following the camp, Lucky led her team, MIZ LB 15 Rockstar to a 5th place finish in the USAV GJNC 15s Open division. For college coaches, [player_tooltip player_id='338908' first='Lucky' last='Fasavalu'] is more than just a positional player; she is a game-changer who can elevate the performance of an entire team.
Anya is a standout setter who competed all year at a higher level with [program_tooltip program_id='510736' first='Sports' last='Academy'] Volleyball Club Jen-17 Premier, leading her team to an impressive 5th place finish at the AAU 17s Open Nationals. She skillfully orchestrated her offense, delivering graceful sets for Nebraska-bound Manaia' Ogbechie and UCLA commit Eliana' Urzua all club season long.

Anya's performance today showcased her beautiful fundamentals and technical prowess. Her hands demonstrated strength and precision, consistently providing spot-on placements. Although she will be taking her talents to Texas to play with the renowned Madfrog club, college coaches would be wise to add Anya to their early recruitment lists, as she continues to develop into an exceptional player.
[player_tooltip player_id='482029' first='Kaya' last='Richards'] hails from the emerging Los Angeles Volleyball Club, which secured a notable 9th place finish at the USAV GJNC 15s Patriot division. Despite being part of a relatively new club, Kaya showcased remarkable poise and confidence on the court. Her sets were delivered with precision, and her impeccable footwork highlighted her excellent mechanics. Kaya's consistent ability to deliver well-placed sets under pressure underscores her talent and skill level, proving she can compete at a high caliber. College coaches should keep an eye on this underdog setter, as her potential and determination make her a promising recruit for the future. Michelle Bamford @ PrepDig

[player_tooltip player_id='493120' first='Piper' last='Chylinski'], representing City Volleyball 15 Gold, continues to be one of the most impressive setters in the 2027 class. Her athletic build and court presence demonstrate a maturity beyond her years. Piper's exceptional skills on the court are complemented by her coachability, adding another layer of brilliance to her as an athlete. Her connection with the ball is impeccable, allowing her to establish strong rapport with hitters, even those she's just started working with. Following the UA Next Camp, Piper guided her team to a podium finish, claiming 3rd place at the USAV GJNC 15s Open division. College coaches should prioritize adding this standout setter to the top of their considerations for Division 1 recruitment, given her outstanding abilities and potential for further growth.
