As promised, we're rolling into Part 2.

Our first set of Nebraska 2027 rankings is out, meaning we have a lot of ground to cover in our post-release features. We've already discussed the initial Top 25 while also looking at a few athletes looking to make the next rankings jump. We're going further into the latter theme today.

Here are a few more players we're looking to add to our rankings as the fall season quickly approaches.

Our Part 2 conversation begins with Nebraska Elite and a middle blocker who has seen the rigors of Open-level competition. Deats was an in-system juggernaut for Nebraska Elite 15 Revolution, catalyzing the team's 15 Open championship at NLQ. Even though 15 Revolution favored a 6-2 throughout the season, Deats demonstrated that she could take over the offense behind the setter. This made Deats one of several players on the roster who could play middle blocker or opposite. Omaha Westside will be glad to harness this diverse repertoire.

Goodwin's live arm is suitable for any position. She can hit slower tempos on the pin or hammer on the quick as a middle blocker. We saw her take swings from every area of the court for Nebraska Juniors 15 Black, and Goodwin's development is just getting started. Regardless of where her long-term position lies, this versatile attacker will surely reach our rankings through her infinite potential. Nebraska Juniors has a can't-miss leader for the future.

We have a lot of players to choose from off the Premier Nebraska 15 Black. It's hard to ignore what this team accomplished as soon as the 2024 club season started, and Gregg was central to that hot start. She gave 15 Black a high-flying weapon in front of the setter. This persisted whether the team was transitioning from a dig or working a first-ball situation. Gregg's tireless effort and great technique helped embody what made 15 Black so successful in the USAV race. Now, the game-changing middle blocker will bring those skills to Elkhorn South.

Elkhorn North's freshman class did not disappoint last year. Huff was one of many underclassmen who saw significant playing time as the Wolves etched another tournament appearance in their expanding record book. This powerful opposite then competed with Premier Nebraska 15 Gold, which clawed its way to an Open bid through the Windy City Qualifier. Elkhorn North will feature several new contributors this fall while Huff is looking to expand her role within the offense.

Kepler looks like a middle blocker poised to shake up Lincoln's prep scene. She gained a ton of momentum toward the end of the club season, evidenced by [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] 15 Black's bracket breakthrough at USAV Nationals. Kepler is a nimble, dynamic middle who has honed her blocking technique in the VCN gym. Her range behind the setter keeps expanding, leading to several highlight moments on the slide. We're eager to see Kepler compete with Lincoln Southeast, a team wielding plenty of strength at the middle blocker spot. The Knights are ready to anchor the net.

We'll soon have room for two VCN 15 Black setters in the 2027 rankings. [player_tooltip player_id='458146' first='Alex' last='Kroll'] has received that honor, but Kroemer is not far behind after a stellar 2024 club season. This Waverly athlete sets against the grain with ease and has a knack for connecting with her opposites. Kroemer can also vary tempos and locations based on what suits her hitters best. The bright lights of GJNC seemed to bring another level out of this up-and-coming setter, so pay close attention to the VCN gym in future seasons.

We can't wait to dive into the next chapter of the Omaha Concordia-Club Legacy "dual narrative." These two programs have worked hand-in-hand to form a pipeline that trains a wide array of Omaha talent. Moulton is one of the next in line and is building off a stellar season with Club Legacy 15 Alpha. She proved her willingness to run the show in a 5-1 offense and provided enough physicality to lock down the net. Moulton further expanded her scouting report by participating in last month's Stock Up Showcase. Look out for the next wave of setter talent in the Class of 2027.

Let's wrap up with another one of the Stock Up Showcase's best athletes. Riggins arrived on the Prep Dig Circuit after leading the Nebraska Juniors 15 Black offense in the spring. Our showcase revealed Riggins' incredible athleticism, which is paired with her ability to go pass-to-attack in the front row. The Lincoln Southwest prep athlete hits way above her listed height and will only reach higher as she gains more experience. That's a good omen for Riggins's future placement in the rankings.
