Deer Creek Antlers

Currently sitting at 16-6 overall on the year and first in their district, the Antlers of Deer Creek are making a name for themselves once again. Junior outside hitter Landry Key has been key for their offense as she thunders away at opposing defenses. When she has a clear line of approach and time to attack, the defense better get ready for a laser shot from her cannon. Senior middle [player_tooltip player_id='212419' first='Georgia' last='Byers'] sets the tone for this squad defensively as she patrols the net and puts up a huge block. She is also one of the main attackers for this squad. Super athletic junior outside Kamryn Jackson is a lethal attacker who adds a lot of firepower to this team's offense. She can really fly and pound the ball at will. Junior opposite Amiya St. Ann uses her athleticism and awesome timing on the right side to help battle against opposing outsides at the net. She is quick off of the floor and is not afraid to go up against anyone. The talented lefty also can bring the heat with her whip of an arm. I really like how senior setter CC Wright is moving the ball around to everyone in order to keep the defense off-balance. Her push to the opposite zone during out of system plays is very entertaining to watch as it flies to the right side hitter quickly to create a one on one situation. Senior libero [player_tooltip player_id='212415' first='Morgan' last='Manning'] is one of the best in the business in the back row and we have been covering her for a while. She is one of the main reasons why this squad is ready to compete versus anyone.

Broken Arrow Tigers

Sitting at 16-6 on the year is the Tigers of Broken Arrow. In this six-two offense, both setters never come off the court and are the cornerstone of this squad. They both double as setters and right side attackers and they both perform at a high level in both. Super sophomore setter/right side [player_tooltip player_id='610402' first='Aliyah' last='Owens'] is one of those amazing athletic players who can do it all on the court. If you needed her to play at other positions, I guarantee she could in a heart beat. Her counterpart, junior setter/right side Lily Boswell plays defense like she is a libero and doesn't let anything hit the floor. She also can spot serve with the best of them and racks up aces. I love how sophomore libero [player_tooltip player_id='740633' first='Olivia' last='Shanahan'] moves her feet quickly and never raises her posture while pursuing the ball. Senior outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='194097' first='Grace' last='Marshall'] is phenomenal and is not afraid to swing away whether she is in the front row or back row. The kid can really bring the heat. When she connects on the ball, the defense better be set and ready. Other notable players are junior middle [player_tooltip player_id='740695' first='Devine' last='Okon'] and freshman phenom Maddy Hammer, and senior middle [player_tooltip player_id='740700' first='Candace' last='Fuchs']. This team plays very hard together and have some really solid chemistry. They all cheer for each other very well and feed off of each other's energy.
