Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I’m a high-energy, team-first player who plays smart and aggressively. I focus on consistency, strong communication, and adapting quickly on the court. I am very competitive and strive to win in everything that I do.
I’m an explosive, quick middle hitter who brings positivity and leadership to the court. I always strive to focus on closing blocks, fast transitions, and always being a reliable.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I would describe myself as competitive, coachable and always looking to improve. I stay calm and focused under pressure, bring positive, contagious energy to my team, and love pushing myself and others to get better every day.
I am adaptable, optimistic, persistent, and humble. I strive to always be intentional in everything that I do and I enjoy the feeling of living a purposeful life.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am involved in Student Council, Key club, Licking County League Student Leadership Council, GHS Student Focus Group, Interact Club, and Women In STEM. I really enjoy volunteering at my church, helping out with Summer VBS, and being a church acolyte. I have a 4.2 GPA (3.9 weighted) and have been on Honor Roll throughout my whole high school career.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Through volleyball, I’ve cultivated strong leadership and teamwork skills. On the court, I lead by example, staying composed under pressure and motivating my teammates. Off the court, I’ve engaged in community service, such as donating food to the local Licking County food pantry and raising funds for the Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, which has taught me the value of giving back to my community.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I am very blessed to live with both my parents, in a community where strong schools, active churches, and vibrant libraries. I appreciate all the privileges I have. Sometimes, the challenges that I have faced are within myself, like dealing with my perfectionist mindset and having confidence in my abilities. I have improved upon these and I am armed with many strategies for any obstacle I may face
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college that offers a competitive volleyball program where I can contribute significantly as a middle hitter. Equally important is a strong academic environment that supports my educational aspirations, as my intended major is education. I value a supportive community and inclusive environment with coaches and teammates who are committed to mutual growth and success.
