Tri-State Elite 17, 18s Preview

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Tri-State volleyball team is ranked 14th in the country by US Club rankings and has put together four stacked teams in the 17 and 18-and-Under teams with the Blue teams considered the top teams.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>18 Blue</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>All nine players on this team have committed to the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Four of the Girls Greater Catholic League teams are represented on this team led by three from Division I champion Seton. That includes two liberos in [player_tooltip player_id='152060' first='Sydney' last='Crowley'] and [player_tooltip player_id='152052' first='Sakura' last='Codling']. The other Saint on the team is outside hitter/defensive specialist [player_tooltip player_id='152054' first='Daisy' last='Cluxton'].</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Two players from the Division II state champion St. Ursula Bulldogs will team up with them. They are the 5-10 dynamic outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='176096' first='Molly' last='Creech'] (pictured) and 6-1 middle blocker [player_tooltip player_id='152055' first='Nia' last='Jones']. Heid can send balls screaming to the lines and send cutters across the court. Heid constantly finds different ways to put balls down. Heid is also an effective hitter from the back row. Her defense improved tremendously as she had the highest number of digs in her four years at Badin. Smith does a great job reading hitters and reacting to balls. She slides to balls and still squares her arms up to them to make good passes to setters. Smith moves forward quick on softer touches. White makes solid passes then can quickly transition to offense. She can set to different spots on the court including back sets. White does a great job rushing forward to cover on blocks. White can throw in setter dumps and make solid serves. She does a great job following through on her spike attempts and makes good mid-air adjustments. Bosse mixes in soft shoves to the shallow left and right sides of the court.
