Our positional breakdowns continue with a piece on the outside and right side hitters. Receiving the majority of the sets in any one match, these five have fully embraced the "primary attacker" role for their respective squads, and should continue to do so as their careers continue. Here are five pin attackers from five different clubs from the class of '27.

Long, lean and springy, Caroline embodies the right side persona similar to Olivia Babcock of Pittsburgh. Her attack touch is already north of ten feet, and can hit with a pace that is unmatched on the right side in this class. Already receiving multiple postseason accolades at the club level with Boiler Juniors, Caroline has been playing up a year for some time now, and showing no fear whatsoever.

A picture of what a primary-passing, six-rotation outside hitter should look like, Shania is another that has received postseason honors at the club level. With multiple All-American nods from AAUs in Florida, Miss Rhamy plays with a maturity and strength that has no equal in this class. Powerful when needed and smart in her play, Shania reminds me of Lexie Almodovar of Dayton---a quick-twitch, strong-armed outside who should never come out of the game for any reason.

Relegated to a lot of right side attacking in high school, Jenna's future has her on the outside in our projection. I like her ability to disguise her attack until the last possible moment, making her that much more difficult to defend. Her heavy contacts come from a heavy arm, while her off-speed shots are smart and well-placed.

Big and physical, Hayden probably hits the heaviest ball of any of the attackers on this list. Her height and broad shoulders make her look the part of college-ready, and her relentless nature on the attack proves it. She's slowly learning what to do with an out-of-system set, and her play on both pins this past fall showed what she's capable of in a tough high school schedule. At current, her ball control is a little behind her physicality at the net, but there are PLENTY of colleges that can use a three-rotation attacker that can play either pin with equal effectiveness.

Tucked away at one of the smallest high schools in the state, Sophia is a tall lefty right side that is a problem for opposing outsides on both the attack and defense. Her length alone is problematic, as she can go over a lot of blocks that come her way. That length is also an issue for attackers looking to go line---she takes up more space on the block than she looks, and is gaining speed and experience with every match. I'd like to see what she can do during this club season, which should be a big recruiting year for her.
