PowerPlex has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to its 17U teams. The club's second team could knock off quite a few No. 1 teams from other organizations.

The top squad is 17-Wieland. At the time of this writing, it checked in 7th in the age group nationally in the USAV rankings. The AES Power Rankings listed PowerPlex 15th.

Any way you slice it, 17-Wieland stands out as one of the top teams in the state for the age group. It could be No. 1 by season's end, although teams not meeting up due to being at different national tournaments opens it up for debate.
