About Audrina

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my game play style as loud and communicative in order to run the court. When my hitters know what I'm giving them I am able to give us the best shot on every point.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to make my hitters look good. I strive to give my hitters the best set rather than focusing on my own highlights.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm in a club called We the people and we were the middle school state and regional champions along with fifth at nationals with my unit scoring first.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I'm a part of a club called njhs in which we are required to volunteer to help out the community and I really love being able to serve and help as to me. It's one of the things that strengthens my connections to the community. I love helping run other sporting events, such as track meets or simply helping out at an old people's home.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A major challenge that I have faced is injury. As a result of over-training, I developed a tibial stress fracture causing me to miss my freshmen season. From there on, I have struggled with chronic tibial pain and trying my best to maintain it with PT. Not only this but I also had a concussion, hip tendinitis, sprained shoulder, and hip bursitis but have always worked harder to get back.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that will support me both athletically and academically and give me my best path to enter the real world. Not only this but I am a very competitive person that wants to prove myself at a high level.
