How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am a very smart and aggressive player who stays focused during every play. I read the game at a high level, and hustle for every ball. I always support my teammates on and off the court. I am level headed, stay calm under pressure, love to compete and work to improve my play all the time.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m a hard worker and I don't give up easily. I stay positive, even when things get tough, and I’m always pushing myself to improve. I ask questions and listen to feedback, stay coachable, and pride myself to be the kind of teammate others can count on—on and off the court.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
This fall I will be joining Key Club where I'll be active in volunteer work around my community.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through volleyball. I’ve been team captain, helped coach younger players, and led drills during practice. I was also selected to be part of my club's athletes council, where I help represent my teammates and support our sports programs. These experiences have helped me become more confident, responsible, and a better communicator and leader.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
One challenge I’ve faced is balancing school and volleyball, especially during tough academic times. Last year, I played on JV while trying to keep up with a couple of honors classes. It wasn’t always easy, but I learned how to manage my time, stay organized, and not give up when things got stressful. It taught me how to stay focused and keep working hard, both on the court and in the classroom.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college where I can grow as a student and an athlete. I want a team with a strong work ethic and coaches who push players to improve. A positive, supportive environment is important to me, and I’d like to be part of a program that feels like family. I also want a school with good academics that will help me succeed in the future.
