Where VanLannen’s effort makes the biggest gains for her is in her arm. At 5’11, she continues to prove her ability to score from either side of the floor with an aggressive swing. Her power is generated by the torque she creates with a quick and deliberate bow and arrow in the air that helps with her pace and ability to swing at either edge of the block in front of her.

The game of Harper Van Lannen Harper Van Lannen L WI has really expanded. She has shown she can serve receive, pass, and score points where you can call her a six rotation player. Previously, she was only hitting on the right side, but she has quite the skills set. She plays with maturity and has a high IQ and poise on the court.

Harper was explosive and dominant at the Sizzle. She held nothing back throughout the event, and it was so fun to watch her unload on some balls. She has truly honed in on her game in the last year and has become a pin who could cause opponents some problems in the upcoming season.

Harper Van Lannen is a key scorer for FC Elite 16 White where she can be terminal from the outside and the right side. Her length can give the other side of the net problems where she can set a strong block and is able to hit over the block in most cases. She also has a mix of shots where she can use the high hands, a roll shot over the black, as well as hitting line and cross. She preps at Kimberly High School in the Appleton area who will be returning a strong core of a team who were sectional runner up finishers in 2024.

Harper set and hit during the club season. She has great fundamentals and so much potential to be a high-level player. She is a huge asset because she has good court awareness and can play several positions well.
