Rising Seniors Making Late Gains in Nebraska 2026 Rankings

We've been with this class for a few years, but we're taken aback by the continued development of the state's many 2026 stars. Liebentritt is building off an exceptional club tenure with Premier Nebraska 17 Black and brings the flexibility to play on either side of the setter. This versatile outside attacker has flourished as a six-rotation asset in the [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] gym and could bring the same influence to Lincoln Southwest this fall. Her GJNC podium finish at the 15s level feels like it was just yesterday, but Griess also knows how to repeat history. South Central NE 17 Black made another deep run during this year's trip to Dallas, propelling Griess and her small-town teammates back into the spotlight. We watched this Aurora senior command the libero jersey for Nebraska Juniors 17 Black during this year's club season. Uhrmacher compiled an impressive highlight tape and provided plenty of passing stability in the back row. However, Aurora High School has also harnessed Uhrmacher's athleticism in an attacking role throughout her prep tenure. This savvy setter has been a staple of Club Legacy's success and was an elite signal-caller for this year's 17 Alpha squad. Big stages like the Show Me Qualifier and AAU Nationals have brought out the best in Janke, who has formed cohesive club connections with many of her Marian teammates. The Elkhorn South senior gets her feet to the ball and dishes with perfect tempo and location. Frandson and [program_tooltip program_id='428728' first='River' last='City Jrs'] 17 Navy nearly repeated last year's undefeated run through AAU Nationals. That's enough to cement an athlete's stock-riser status, but Frandson's consistent excellence through the long club grind has also been notable. Her leadership boosted 17 Navy's offense, whether it was at AAU Nationals or the Midwest Power League.
