About Lila

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My playing style is practiced but creative, spontaneous, and I'm an aggressive out of system player.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love a challenge; I am friendly and thrive on being on a team of players who give it their all!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play high school varsity indoor, for a nationally ranked indoor club team, and high school varsity beach volleyball. I take pride in my strong academics - achievements include: 2025 Collegeboard National Top School Recognition Award; Score of 5 on AP Spanish Language exam; Score of 5 on AP Human Geography exam; Score of 4 on AP World History exam.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

In my role as team captain (2024; 2025), I do my best to raise the bar and expectations of the team and support players who need help focusing on next-ball mentality. Talks outside of games/practice, in the huddle, and using individual actions to model positive behavior are all ways the team benefits from itself.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A missed play or a loss to a rival doesn't get me down; rather, I see it as an opportunity to grow with my teammates.
