Arkansas' Players of the Month: August Edition

August seemed to fly by in a blur of packed gyms, huge plays, and electric atmospheres as Arkansas volleyball wasted no time heating up. With the season officially underway, athletes across the state are already turning heads with their performances. Ten players pulled our focus with their stats and team efforts. Let's take a look at the Prep Dig Arkansas' Players of the Month for August!    Venters came out strong for Bentonville in August, showing just how efficient she can be at the net. Hitting an impressive .436 with 52 kills, she established herself as one of the most reliable options for the Tigers' offense. Add in 10 blocks, 12 digs, and 8 aces, and it's clear Venters is making contributions across every part of the game.     Greenwood's Broman-McAdams is proving to be a consistent offensive threat. Posting a .358 hitting percentage with 27 kills and averaging 2.3 kills per set, she gives the Bulldogs steady production that helps keep their offense balanced and efficient.     Morrison made her presence felt at the net, finishing August with 27 kills on a .373 percentage while also stacking up 20 blocks. Her ability to slow down opponents defensively while adding offense makes her a key piece for Farmington early in the season.     Blessing wasted no time proving why she's a go-to player for Shiloh. With 79 kills at 4.2 per set, she's been a constant scoring option while also chipping in defensively with 49 digs and 10 blocks. Her combination of volume and versatility sets her apart. She is closing in on both 1,000 kills and digs for her career.     Rehkopf gave Farmington another reliable weapon on the floor. She tallied 59 kills on a .310 hitting percentage, while also adding 8 blocks and 45 digs. Averaging 3.5 kills per set, she continues to provide steady production in both the front and back row.     Brown has been a steady contributor for Rogers' offense, recording 57 kills while hitting .312. Her presence at the net is balanced with defensive work, as she added 8 blocks to round out a solid month of play.     Cureton has already made her mark this season as one of the state's top setters. With 115 assists, becoming the first player in Arkansas to cross the 100-assist mark, she averaged an impressive 9.6 per set. Her stat line also includes 18 digs and 11 aces, showing her all-around impact.     Farmington's offensive rhythm runs through Beach, who has already racked up 93 assists in August. She also added 42 digs, proving she's just as important defensively as she is in running the attack.     Bonanno anchored the Shiloh back row, finishing with 68 digs and a team-high 161 receptions. Her ability to keep plays alive and provide steady serve receive has been crucial, while she also added 7 aces at the service line.     Henderson gave Rogers' defense stability, recording 59 digs and 60 receptions in August. She also contributed 10 aces, adding another layer of value from the service line.    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Honorable Mentions</h2>   [player_tooltip player_id='566871' first='Tristen' last='Hamilton'] – Bentonville Hamilton posted 50 kills at 3.6 per set, while also adding 56 digs, 89 receptions, and 7 aces. She gave Bentonville solid production both offensively and defensively in August.   [player_tooltip player_id='744606' first='Miranda' last='Leslie'] – Mayflower Leslie finished with 50 digs and 60 receptions, while also contributing 9 assists and 14 aces. She continues to be a steady option in Mayflower's back row.   Chloe Whittington – Mayflower Whittington totaled 71 assists, averaging 7.9 per set, along with 19 digs.
