She has been a key piece to the success of a very talented 1st Alliance Class of 2026 squad that took second place in the 16 Open Division at USAV Nationals in 2024. She has also been the lockdown defender for Mother McAuley, the prestigious high school program out of Chicago where they have a schedule competing against the best in Chicagoland and the nation. She is currently in postseason mode for the Might Mac's where she is averaging a mind blowing 7.5 digs per set. Her next move is to Clemson where the Tigers have been building quite the pipeline of Midwest athletes to their program.     This could be one of those players who just ends up on an All American list at Louisville in a few years. Louisville just has that eye for talent and potential where they mold players into some of the best in the country. Bailey has the length and athleticism where at 6'4 she can tough high and hit some wild angles out of the middle. She has played her club volleyball for BRAVO which is local out of Bowling Green where she also preps for her high school team (Bowling Green High School). She might not be the type who makes the impact right away when she steps on campus, but she could walk away from Louisville with a decorated resume.     Rockwood Thunder is always producing high level athletes who find a way to contribute for their programs at the collegiate level. Abigail Schoene has been a setter for the club out of St. Louis where she will head to Baylor following her high school and club career. Schoene has textbook footwork and hands where she is able to set the ball at the highest point where she is sure to get it to her middles. She's also not afraid to take a risk where she can chuck it from pin to pin. She has prepped at Timbaland High School just west of St. Louis where collected over 2,000 assist, nearly 800 digs, and nearly 500 kills in her career.     [player_tooltip player_id='800596' first='Elayna' last='Davidson'] will be heading to Maryland where there is quite a crew from the Midwest heading out East. She will also be going with her club teammate at Sports Performance in [player_tooltip player_id='807884' first='Brooklynne' last='Brass'] and Marlee Sivak who is also nationally ranked from Milwaukee Sting. Davidson has the skill, discipline, and athleticism to succeed at a high level. She was part of a state championship team in 2024 at Marist High School out of Chicago who knocked off a high powered and nationally ranked Benet squad in the title game. Whatever team Davidson has played for she has won and made an impact.     What an athlete. I remember seeing Da'Mya Mann playing at nationals as a 15 for Alamo out of San Antonio. Her athleticism is just different with her ability to get her hands to the ball and physicality at the net. She is more than a distributor for her side of the net. She can make plays, her blocking a major part of her game, she's even played her base in the front row out of the middle. With Texas just down the road from Oklahoma they can pick up some of these high level athletes to make an impact in the SEC.     Mya Hemmer is from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan or the “UP” as the Upper Midwest calls it. Hemmer is a newcomer to volleyball where she grew up as a high level basketball player. She was able to join FC Elite out of Appleton, WI for the tail end of the club season in 2024 where coaches started to take notice. The 2025 season she was a middle blocker for FC Elite 18 Elite, being a part of a squad that qualified 18 Open. Her lateral quickness combined with her athleticism and physicality makes her quite the offensive and defensive threat. She will take her game from the shores of Lake Michigan to Waco, Texas suiting up for the Baylor Bears.     Another up and coming player to know is [player_tooltip player_id='628282' first='Kymora' last='Scott']. Wisconsin has built a solid pipeline to Chicago where they have made it routine to pick up the top kids from this area. However, Scott is on a bit of a different path. She has played her club ball at Xtreme Performance which is not a nationally known club, but the athletic ability and upside to Scott is something the Badger staff took note of. She is lethal, attacking off of one foot is a cheat code for the offense. Get her in the gym with coaches who have trained some of the best middles in the country and it could be a promising future for Scott.     Sari Marks is a unique talent out of Sun Prairie West high school just outside of Madison, WI. She has been a setter/attacker combo player at Sting United where she would set in the backrow and attack in the front row. She has been a key player for the Badger Region High Performance team. This is a huge pick up for Green Bay out of the Horizon League where Marks can be used for a variety of ways. Her future could be as a six rotation right side with her ability to do everything extremely well.
