Thank You, Subscribers: Fueling Exposure One Player at a Time
In this article:
This month, we're proud to share the voices of PrepDig California subscribers who continue to lead by example, using exposure as both a tool and a responsibility. Each athlete featured reflects what it means to invest in visibility and growth, not only for themselves but for the entire volleyball community. Their words remind college coaches that these players are intentional about development, consistent in leadership, and grounded in gratitude. We're thrilled to highlight subscribers who bring passion, perspective, and purpose to the court, and we thank them for fueling the kind of exposure that lifts every athlete in California.

π‘ βI would say I'm most proud of the way I have been able to see the court fully and open up my range not only frontrow but back row as well!"

π§ βI subscribed because I got interviewed at a tournament and it was my first recognition. Ever since that tournament, PrepDig has helped me gain an audience!β
Finley's Gratitude
π βMy parents and coaches. My mom and dad and coach Brennan truly changed my life. I joined wave and and super grateful today how they helped me grow as a player and a person. They never gave up on me and I could not have done anything without them."

π‘ βHaving a young team and being one of only three seniors graduating, I've taken the privilege of being a leader on and off the court. In addition to practice during the week, the team and I work with my high school coach during private lessons on Saturdays at CSU Pomona and one-on-one lessons on Sundays at Forza1 North. I show leadership with my preparation and the extra work that translates to the volleyball court. I've worked on my weaknesses and expanded my game as a setter β doing more backsets and staying an offensive threat with more accurate sets and setter dumps. I lead by example always.β

π§ βThe coverage I receive from outstanding players in the California area is unmatched. It also enables players from smaller schools, like me, to get more noticed. The PrepDig showcases invite events allow me to show my skill set directly to college coaches looking for players on their team. You feel like they really care and keep a close eye on you while in your drill or scrimmage.β
Rhys's Gratitude
π βI'm grateful for my mom, dad, and every coach I've had along my volleyball journey. My mom and dad are always there and I appreciate them for it. All of my coaches β from club to private lessons to high school β have made a positive impact on me and my game. I haven't had any offers yet, but I hope I can play in college too.β

π‘ βIQ and being a good teammate in the face of adversity β this high school season I've had the privilege of learning parts of the game I'd never focused on before. Being surrounded by some of the top recruits in the country has helped me make smart IQ adjustments that completely grew my confidence and gave me affirmation that I can play at the highest level. I've also had the amazing opportunity to cheer on my team and learned how to keep energy high, stay uplifting, and lead with joy. I'm grateful people now get to see my goofy, silly, celebratory personality β it's part of who I am.β

π§ βThere are so many ways this platform has benefited me. When no one knew about me, PrepDig shined the spotlight. I'm able to send my articles to coaches and uplift other players in the volleyball community.β
Raneighla's Gratitude
π βGod, grit, and my momma! In my weakest and darkest hours, I had Jesus β that connection to faith has kept me strong. My mom has never wavered in her love, support, and prayers. She changed her lifestyle completely to help me fulfill my dreams while teaching me how to work hard and have grit. On days I didn't want to show up, she reminded me who I am. God gave me the grit to play volleyball and blessed me with a mom who built a village around me. I'm so grateful for everything.β

π‘ βThis year, I'm most proud of my ability to help lead my high school team while working through new lineups at Marina. We lost some seniors and had injuries to key players from last year, so new teammates had to step up into big roles. I hadn't played with them before, but I'm proud of how we grew together into varsity-level contributors and finished third in the Sunset League, earning a move up to Division 2 for playoffs, which was a huge milestone! During my freshman year, the seniors welcomed me and made me feel like an important part of the team, and it feels great to be able to do the same for our new players.β

π§ βFollowing my freshman season, PrepDig included me in the Top Freshman Girls Volleyball Players from Orange County (thank you!). I subscribed for the showcases, the player articles, and the rankings. PrepDig has helped me grow my platform and get my name out there. I've even included my PrepDig articles in emails to college coaches. Seeing my name in the 2027 rankings gives me the confidence that I'm on the right path!β
Korynn's Gratitude
π βI am so extremely grateful for all the parents, players, and coaches who have been part of my high school volleyball journey. Especially through this year's challenges, I felt so much love and support no matter how I was playing. Knowing my coaches believed in me and hearing my team cheer me on made every game fun. I'm so grateful to see everyone's smiles and to be part of a team that celebrates every up and learns from every down.β

π‘ βMy passing! In many ways, it's the most important part of the game β and when I can do it well and consistently, it helps keep our offense multi-dimensional and wear down our opponents. It's one of the biggest things I can do to help my team be successful.β
