💡 “Having a young team and being one of only three seniors graduating, I've taken the privilege of being a leader on and off the court. In addition to practice during the week, the team and I work with my high school coach during private lessons on Saturdays at CSU Pomona and one-on-one lessons on Sundays at Forza1 North. I show leadership with my preparation and the extra work that translates to the volleyball court. I've worked on my weaknesses and expanded my game as a setter — doing more backsets and staying an offensive threat with more accurate sets and setter dumps. I lead by example always.”

💡 “This year, I'm most proud of my ability to help lead my high school team while working through new lineups at Marina. We lost some seniors and had injuries to key players from last year, so new teammates had to step up into big roles. I hadn't played with them before, but I'm proud of how we grew together into varsity-level contributors and finished third in the Sunset League, earning a move up to Division 2 for playoffs, which was a huge milestone! During my freshman year, the seniors welcomed me and made me feel like an important part of the team, and it feels great to be able to do the same for our new players.”
