WIAA State Tournament- 4A Attackers to Watch

<p>Washington's 4A division is packed with talented attackers who can finish when a match is on the line. This group is loaded with League MVPs, big-time Division 1 commits, and excellent two-way players who battle hard on defense while they are carrying the scoring load for their squads. </p>   <p>Here are six attackers that will be ripping rockets at the Yakima Sundome this week. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Curtis- [player_tooltip player_id='243689' first='Selana' last='Morales']</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Morales took home the MVP award for the South Puget Sound League and will be a big part of the Curtis Vikings' push for a repeat of last year's title run. She has been racking up kills and blocks on both pins and can be a dominant force when the Vikings are rolling. Morales has great timing and press as a blocker; she can turn the momentum of a set with a monster block or a scorching kill. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Lake Stevens- [player_tooltip player_id='231549' first='Laura' last='Eichert']</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">The future Oregon Duck is the top-ranked 2026 player in the state and is looking to bring home a state title for Lake Stevens in her final season. Eichert is the last pin that teams want to see swinging with a match on the line; she is blasting away at a .407 hitting percentage- increasing her efficiency from last season while surpassing 2200 kills in her four-year varsity career. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Gonzaga Prep- [player_tooltip player_id='412070' first='Mara' last='Sandberg']</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">The Greater Spokane League MVP is a Tennessee commit and leads a balanced Gonzaga Prep attack facilitated by senior setter Noella Migluri. Sandberg is powerful and competitive, but knows when to drop in a crafty roll to score on a defense that is on their heels. The 2027 OH is one of many tough servers for the Bullpups. She has a dancing floater that she hits with precision location. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Wenatchee- [player_tooltip player_id='450025' first='Breven' last='Luinstra']</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">The OH is rolling into her senior season and will play at the next level for Central Washington University. Wenatchee knows how to win at the state tournament, and Luinstra is one of the returning members of the team that won a state title in 2023. She has wrecked defenses, pounding kills down the line, and finding the deep corners of the court to score. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Camas- [player_tooltip player_id='450701' first='Gabriella' last='Thompson']</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Thompson is incredibly athletic on the outside; she is a tremendous blocker and can detonate kills at outrageous angles. She is a University of Miami commit and has Camas flying high this season. Thompson is a threat from the pipe and and fast on her feet when she is in the back row. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Kamiakin- [player_tooltip player_id='515095' first='Delaney' last='Donaldson']</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Donaldson is a first-team Mid Columbia Conference selection and has a whippy, decisive arm swing out of the middle. Kamiakin has been at the top of the MCC for five years running, with a well-balanced group of smart, hard-working players at every position.
