With club season just around the corner, we've got a ton of next-level middles in the Hoosier state that should be seeing a great number of recruiting looks this spring. Here are five middles from five different clubs that should be the first off of the board when commitments start coming around this coming summer.

Part of a middle pair at Westfield that is already next-level, Jordyn has burst onto the scene since she moved here from Tennessee not too long ago. Her size, strength and overall intimidating presence makes for a tough overall package in the middle that SCREAMS Division I. With all of the appearances of an M2 for the next level, Jordyn's presence on Circle's 16-1 is a huge upgrade at the middle position for a team that finished 3rd at 15 Open last summer at GJNC's.

With two 4A state championship trophies already on her mantle, Paityn is one of the best overall middles in this class. Big enough to cause problems when defending and smart enough to score points regularly from the middle regardless of who's setting, Miss Lauck is part of a strong class of 2028 middle group that can do no wrong. Paityn can easily slot in as an M1 or an M2 for any stable of middles, and her spot on PHP's squad will have her seeing some of the best competition to develop her skill set THAT much more.

Madeline is a springy and smart middle that is explosive on sets away from the setter. Able to hit multiple tough angles with her attacks, she has the length to make things tough for any opposing blocks. As a defender, Madeline's length is her strength, and uses her super long arms to press and hold her block well, all without repeatedly hitting the net. Although some might find her undersized, her length, combined with her jumping ability and athleticism, more than makes up for apparent lack of size.

The top hitting percentage player in the state this past fall, Abbie is an explosive and terminal middle that can score points in front of the setter just as easily as she can on a slide. Her athleticism looks smooth and easy, her All-State honors are no fluke, either—-her skill set transfers well at the open level of club play, even though she plays at one of the smaller schools in Indiana. Length, upper-body strength and volleyball IQ have propelled Miss Powell this far, and this coming club season should solidify her recruitment by earning multiple offers this coming summer.

One of the rare over-six-feet kids from Providence, Isabella is well worth the price of admission to either a high school match in southern Indiana or at the open level of 16s for Union. Of the five listed here, none have as strong of an upper body as Miss Manos, as her arm swing allows for a heavy ball to come off of her hand regularly. As far as blocking is concerned, she takes up plenty of space and closes the block well with whomever is on the pin with her. Tall, smart, physical and coachable, Isabella is an easy get for any school needing a solid M2 in college in the fall of 2028.
