Watching Film: Five Who Reached Out

She is an athlete who has been featured quite a bit lately during this week's 2028 rankings update. She sent highlights from Power League Qualifying action in Lawrence. She was in a groove for [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last='']. She is explosive and has a smooth approach. The video she sent me was on Instagram, and I was able to see it without an account. That surprised me. I was impressed that her video had a title page with contact information included. I know from talking to college coaches that the easier they can find contact information, the easier it is to recruit you! I have lost track of the number of times I have written about her game. She is just a talented setter and a gifted athlete. So here is the key thing with her sharing her video. She only posted two clips, but anyone who watches those two clips will want to log on to HUDL and look for more highlights. Also, she knows I watch little 18U or 17U club volleyball, so she is keeping in the loop on what's going on in her world. That shows a dedication and understanding of the recruitment process and how Prep Dig scouts can assist athletes. She was recently featured for qualifying for the 200/200 Club by recording at least 200 digs and 200 kills during her last prep season. Like her sister, her highlight was perfect for social media; quick and to the point. She made a great first pass, which led to an easy set and kill. The other thing I have always noticed about her posts on X is that she always shows appreciation and love for her teammates. I wrote about the trio of Foster, Walter, and Schmidtlein during Hayden's prep season. The magic formula for the Topeka Saints may very well be Dean to Walter to Miller. At least it was in her most recent highlight. It was highlights from her Power League Qualifier action. She was laying out to get to tough balls, she made consistent, first passes, and I liked her lateral movement. Nash is playing for [program_tooltip program_id='515493' first='Club' last='North']. She made consistent first passes. The one piece of advice I would share with Nash is to tighten her highlight package. Her video was over three minutes long. Pick the best of the best when you send your highlights to college coaches. I don't cross state lines. Prep Dig has plenty of regional and national scouts. I am getting old and prefer to play in my own sandbox. However, I watched and talked to Henson at the December 14 Prep Dig Exposure Tour Showcase in KCK. I told her that if I could help her out, let me know. Well, she let me know by sending me some footage via email. She was all over the court during the club event. She has a nice touch as a setter and a quick, tight lefty swing when hitting. She recorded 199 assists, 183 digs, and 101 kills for Blue Springs South. Henson is ranked No. 65 overall in the Missouri Class of 2027.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
